Excellent Cruise - Moonshine cruise was excellent! Otto our activities Director and Brian the boat captain were extremely friendly and informative. appetizers and drinks were overflowing. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

A Little Rain, A Lot of Rum :-) - Very relaxing, well-paced, and totally fun lake cruise. Our trip was overcast and a bit rainy, but our guide Marco more than made up for the weather. It was still beautiful and since it was only our family on the boat for this trip, we had a great time getting to know the guys and learn about the area. Thank you so much. Very very memorable.

Blown away - What an amazing and unexpectedly wonderful way to spend our last evening in Arenal. Otto was an excellent tour guide and blew us away with his singing talent. Brian not only drove the boat but gave us an impromptu merengue dance lesson. Very cool experience.

This was a very fun tour.... - This was a very fun tour. Otto was our guide and he was great. Very knowledgeable and a good singer. They made a fruit ceviche that was delicious.

Best thing to do in Arenal region. - This was my favourite thing that we did in La Fortuna. First, the pick-up at our hotel was on time (about 5 minutes early) and we were taken to Lake Arenal. The guides Josué and Delvin were excellent. They were courteous polite and professional. We ended up being the only two people on the sunset cruise - they didn’t cancel, instead they gave us the best experience ever. What i loved about these guys was their knowledgeable and passionate love of the region and the nature around the lake. Delvin took out his bird book to help identify some of the birds we came across and Josué, who grew up there, told us of the history of this man-made lake. We got beautiful pictures, had great snacks and drank some great "moonshine" cocktails. This was our most memorable tour.

Joyful - Otto is a great tour guide and very enthusiastic. He turned a rainy day into a joyful evening with a little dancing and singing. He is also very knowledgeable of the local history and fauna. We really enjoyed the snacks and the drinks too. Thank you Otto Michelle, Elaine and Margaret

Booze Cruise - Josue the tour guide and Delbin the Captain were both great. Josue told us the history and made sure our glasses were never empty. Delbín drives a smooth boat and takes beautiful portrait pictures. Our snacks were delicious, the music was fun. Go. You will love it.

A great way to spend an evening! - A great way to spend the evening. The scenery was gorgeous, but that was just the beginning of the experience. Wonderful local appetizers, good drink, dancing, and even a serenade by our guide Otto.

The people were the best - The best thing about this tour was our guide, JP, who was interesting and engaging. The tour itself, while a nice boat ride, just didn’t feel like more than that. I’m not quite sure what I expected, but the tour itself was kind of, well, boring. Had it not been for JP, with whom I engaged on a variety of topics of Costa Rican life and government, I think it would have been a bust. Great if you’re looking for a boat ride, but it wasn’t much more than that — not much flora and fauna (though that also could have been the weather).

Arenal lake sunset boat ride = no thanks - Good parts- Our driver was great. He was personable and entertaining. He made good drinks, sang and danced well, and was engaging. Bad parts- The boat was old. There was no bathroom. There wasn't much to see on the lake. It was very expensive for what you received. I would definitely not recommend this activity to anybody.
