Hanging bridges, volcano, hot springs - This was super fun! Definitely busy but learned so much from our tour guide Chris who was fun and extremely knowledgeable about the rainforest. Caesar also did an excellent job driving the van! We did hanging bridges, a quick volcano hike, lunch and hot springs. Would definitely recommend as a great way to experience La Fortuna.

Fun activities BUT pick the Red Lava Tour that Includes La Fortuna Waterfall - Hiking the Mistco Hanging Bridges was easy and fun. Walking across the bridges and the views seen were awesome. The tour guides were also full of energy and knowledge. The pineapple snack before the "volcano hike" was sweet. The volcano hike was okay, but it did allow everyone more time to get to know each other. Lunch was tasty, and by lunch, we all became a group of friends. After lunch the group was split between those who paid extra for La Fortuna Waterfalls and those who did not (this tour). Those who didn't pay for the waterfall segment would have an extra hour at the hot springs. But we were convinced by everyone going on the waterfall segment to pay extra for the add on, which we did. It turned out to be the best decision. Swimming in the waterfall turned out to be the highlight of our day. Afterwards we spent an hour at a somewhat crowded hot springs, but the water was soothing after a long day of hiking. It was a great day with good conversation with new friends. Recommendation: Do the tour by Red Lava that has all these activities BUT also includes La Fortuna Waterfall. It's a but more money but well worth it!

Went on several different tours with Red Lava and enjoyed all of them. - We did 4 different tours with Red Lava and enjoyed every single one. All of our tour guides were great. We went with Kathleen to hike the volcano and she was very knowledgeable and was able to spot so many different animals and wildlife. Santiago was also great. We went to Rio Celeste with him and he was so energetic and fun. Overall we had an incredible time in La fortunate and red lava was a big reason why.

Great Tour - Guide was great. Glad we used a guide rather than on our own as he provided many interesting facts and other information that we wouldn’t have received otherwise. He was also good at spotting animals that we totally would have missed.

Swinging bridges adventure - The trip was fun. Our guide Chris was excellent. The lunch was delicious! The hot springs was a nice ending however they were a bit crowded and we couldn’t find a place to sit . The reason I gave this trip 4 stars was because the communication was very poor. The information in the listing wasn’t very clear either. I never got a definite response about my pickup location. The details of the trip was not clear in the listing or told to us verbally. Others on the trip felt the same . There should be a detailed list of items to bring and the fact that you can leave your backpack on the bus. Also we should be told to bring a rain jacket. That info was added at the last minute and we had to go back and get our jacket. They never mentioned that the hot springs was at a resort and we could change there. It was all very vague. Please give detailed information.

A good day out - We had booked to see the mistico bridges, followed by a walk to the volcano, a local lunch and hot springs. Our guide Carlos was super at picking out different birds and animals to see along the way and taking photos of us crossing the bridges. Lunch was good and the only disappointment was the rather short time at the hot springs (an hour) which really could have been longer.

It was lots of fun, the... - It was lots of fun, the bridges I was initially scared about but I am so glad we did. Our tour guide was very nice and helped us with the miscommunication with the viator about the waterfall. He made sure we were taken care of and contacted the right people to get the waterfall experience figured out. The owner Bebo or vivo made sure to get us to the second part and was very apologetic for the mix up. Melonie took us on the second part through the waterfall which was a huge hike and took us to see the native villlagers. I didn't give it a 5 because there was way too many in our party. 16 people per group was way too much. We moved too fast and it was hard to hear everything kind of felt like a cattle drive at times. But the guides were absolutely amazing and the it was pretty cool with all the bridges and everything we saw.
