Adventure on the celestial river in Costa Rica - Thanks to the attentions of Mr. Wesler who was attentive at all times to our physical condition, explained every detail of the tour and sought us the best photos and memories. Walking activity is quite strong between climbing and descending stairs. But the prize of seeing the falls and the Celeste River was worth more. In addition we included a cultural lunch of Costa Rica. In the end we went to the river adjacent to the restaurant where we could see up close the grandeur of the celestial color of the river. Remember to wear comfortable walking clothes back and forth in total almost 3 hours, comfortable tennis, rain coats and towels. Shower available after bathing in the river. A good experience for life.

Always attentive to how we were going, to take pictures of the animals and each of us. When finishing a dip in the river that cools off after the walk. Thank you!!

like a spanish class field trip with the best view and yummy beans - This tour was a cozy little group of 12ish people. Our guide’s name was Eric and he was so nice and funny! He remembered all our names and joked with everyone the entire time so it felt like a personal guide. He presented everything in both English and Spanish and lightheartedly quizzed us so it felt like we were in class (in a good way). We stopped by a cafe for pastries, coffee, and bathroom break after picking everyone up. The hike in the park was a proper hike with steep stairs down to the waterfall. I just wore hiking sandals and carried a poncho. Left the towel and swimsuit in the car for later. It rained hard all night in La Fortuna and lightly during the day so we thought the water would be brown but it was SO BLUE!! We also saw the “boiling river,” where the brown and blue rivers met, blue lagoon, and lots of wildlife along the way. Then it poured heavily on the hike out so the water was starting to slightly darken by the time we reached the soda (best beans and tea of the entire trip) and swimming area outside the park. The river was rocky and slippery so sandals are highly recommended! Theres clean showers and changing areas here. And we shared a shot of Costa Rican cane liquor with everyone to end the day. Highly recommend this over other tours because we were able to swim in the blue waters! Also Eric was amazing!!

Great trip, good vibes, amazing views, and better coffee. - Gonzalo is the absolute best! His knowledge of the area, which includes local laws, national park ordinances, and tour preparation helped us navigate everything smoothly. He pointed out different animals, told stories of local folklore, and explained the complicated chemistry of the colorful Celeste river. Truly an expert in his field. Lastly, he has a unique life story, but to not spoil it, just ask and you will be impressed with his journey. He is a one of one. Trip: food was really good, and good portions. Coffee stops were well planned, tasty; and remarkably affordable. Overall, 10 out of 10. Would recommend

He is very passionate about the environment and very knowledgeable. One of the best tour guides we had on our trip. Also, lunch was amazing. The best beans I’ve had in Costa Rica!!
