Safety measures: safety kayaker, profesional & bilingual guides, personal flotation device, helmet, paddle and a safety speech for instructions.

The Sarapiquí River is renowned as one of the region’s most vibrant rivers, boasting continuous class 4 and 3 rapids for beyond two hours, and a rich array of wildlife such as sloths, monkeys, and toucans that can be observed during the descent.
Regarded as a Natural Monument of Costa Rica, this river embodies the country’s nature and cultural legacy. The La Selva Biological Station, a 3,739-hectare haven, is situated in this area. It stands as one of Costa Rica’s three vital neotropical ecological research and conservation bases, owned by the Organization for Tropical Studies.
Put simply, our rafting tours allow you to savor the thrill and natural wonders within one of the world’s most significant biological zones.

The Best Rafting Experience!! - We had a blast on this adventure! I definitely recommend Arenal Rafting for all of your adventures! This is the second time we've rafted with them and I'd never go with anyone else. We felt safe and had such a great time and they took fantastic pics!!!

Amazing experience! - My teens were really keen to do the extreme option- I was a little nervous! But it was honestly one of our favourite days in Costa Rica. Definitely challenging and lived up to the ‘extreme’ description, but very well organised and the guides definitely have safety as a priority as well as fun! Didier was our bus guide - such a nice and funny guy, and Braulio was our raft guide (kept us all in check, doing the right thing!).
There were about 6 rafts on the trip, each taking their turn and pausing to ensure everyone makes it safely through each set of rapids, plus kayakers on hand to survey the river in advance, spot any problems and take photos. The stop for a fruit break and a jump into the river was fun, and the lunch was lovely (also got to spot a blue jeans frog!).
Would 100% recommend.

Extreme, but loved it!! - This was our first time whitewater rafting. I was beyond nervous. Guides were phenomenal! They explained everything and throughout they were very safety conscious. We received a helmet, life jacket and oar. Brian (our guide) was amazing at giving us instructions on what to do and when. After the first couple of rapids we got the hang of it. It was extreme, but my daughter and I loved it!! About halfway through we all stopped and the guides provided us with fresh watermelon, pineapple and oranges. It was so needed for energy! The lunch we received after was probably one of the best we had. We purchased the pictures from our experience and they are great. So many wonderful memories!! Thank you, Arenal Rafting!!

Non-stop fun - The river was great the rapids were non- stop. The guides were fun but very safety conscious. Our guide Braulio was terrific. Would highly recommend if you like adventure.

Do it! - Roberto was amazing, we had a phenomenal time. Fast and fun but not too intense. Were able to jump out and float a few times, saw a lot of birds as well. Snack in the middle, and lunch afterwards or both great!

RAFTING WITH THE COOLEST PEOPLE IN THE COOLEST PLACE - From booking the trip to meeting the guides and riding on the river, Arenal staffs dedication to customer service is outstanding! Diego and Braulio were our van guides. They were both absolutely amazing, funny, and entertaining! Our guide for the river was Gerald. Let me tell you, if you're looking for a wild ride and a fun time, he's your guy! Book Arenal Rafting for your next trip. I promise you won't regret it at all!

Best rafting experience - So much fun!!!! Oso was an amazing guide. Our family had the best time. It was exciting but never felt like we were at risk. I've been rafting several times and this was the best one!

Best tour we did in La Fortuna. - One of the most professional rafting tours I have experienced. Captain Jack was our guide and he was amazing. My wife was a little nervous about doing class IV rapids but he set her mind at ease. Also, note that class IV rapids for tourists are not the same as standard class IV rapids, more like III+. All the same was a great experience.
