Sky Trek & Sky Tram tours takes you to highest points in the Arenal rainforest with an adventure full of adrenaline. The tour starts with a ride on the Aerial Tram in between the magnificent rain forest with views of the Arenal Volcano and Lake. Then you will have the opportunity to fly through a series of cables and have a unique experience of adventure and adrenaline at amazing speeds and heights.
- High intensity activity not recommended for people with any kind of health problem.
- Maximum weight 136 kg (300 lb.)
- The minimum age required to do this tour is 5 years, as long as the harness can be adjusted correctly.
- Minimum weight 40 kg (88.1 lb.)
- No allowed for people with recent surgeries (1 year)

Thrilling ziplines with amazing views! - We had the best time ziplining with Sky Adventures! There were 7 ziplines of varying lengths. My 10 and 12 year old went down together for a few where they thought they'd be too light to go on their own. They strapped them together. And then there was one where my husband and I each took one kid. The views were amazing! One of the ziplines was more than a minute long and another went through a canopy of trees. It was all so beautiful and fun! The crew was very professional. We felt very safe, the guides were great and we had so much fun!

Spectacular experience - We did ziplining and a guided tour of the suspension bridges. The zipling was the absolute highlight! It was spectacular flying over the rainforest! Team Sky Adventures was super friendly and professional at every station. We can highly recommend Sky Adventures - especially with smaller children. The tour was also great and the rainforest very impressive. However, it's less about animals and more about the rainforest and suspension bridges, which was a great fit for us as we already had great animal tours elsewhere. Maria, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We can definitely recommend this tour (2 hours).

Wonderful! - Fantastic experience. The staff at Sky Adventures were really nice, patient and safety is clearly a priority.
You do the zipline first, using the tram to get you to the first platform which is a very short, low to the ground practice run. From there they send you on the big ziplines over the rainforest. The view is amazing. We had 4 kids age 11-17 with us and on most of the runs they paired the kids together. One run my friend and I went together.
At the end they will show you all the pictures they took (300 pictures of the 8 of us for $100 or $10 per individual picture) and they are all terrific - crisp and well lit.
From there we had lunch in their restaurant which was delicious and quick, lots of choices even for our picky eater.
Last we did a guided hike on the hanging bridges. We saw a tarantula, 2 eyelash pit vipers (tiny snakes), several turkey and 3 howler monkeys including a baby. We definitely appreciated being with a guide as we would have missed nearly all these animal without her.
The weather changes incredibly fast, be prepared for baking sun and pouring rain regardless of what it says on the weather report.
There are lockers (built into the price) for your stuff.

Great ziplining tour for the whole family! - My family thoroughly enjoyed the zipline tour at Sky Adventures! The ziplines were HUGE, but we always felt very safe! The views were amazing and I think it is the only zipline where you can see both the volcano and lake Arenal. You take a tram/gondola to the top before starting the ziplining. You could optionally just take the gondola (up and back down later) and do some hiking trails and enjoy the views from the top if you choose not to zipline. Which could be good for a larger group if not everyone was as adventurous! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Took extra care with our autistic son - Amazing experience! Whole family enjoyed the zip lining; our guide instantly recognized that our oldest, who is autistic, may need some assistance and asked to ride with him. Very friendly staff, professional team who make sure your experience is the best it can be.

Hiking at it's best - Maria was our guide for the hike, she is very knowledgeable and knows where to find the best animals/reptiles! Everything from howler monkeys to juvenile pit vipers and that was just on the first sky bridge.

Incredible Ziplines, Breathtaking Views, and Great Staff - Sky Adventures in La Fortuna was an unforgettable experience! The ziplining course was hands down the best we’ve ever done—fast, exhilarating, and offering breathtaking views of the rainforest and Arenal Volcano. Each platform was well-built and secure, and the guides were professional and safety-conscious without taking away from the fun. Special shoutout to Lana, who was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process—she made us feel comfortable and welcomed from the start. While the experience is a bit on the expensive side, it’s absolutely worth it for the quality, scenery, and overall thrill. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
