After driving less than one hour through rural areas, plantations, and towns, you will reach the entry point of the Sarapiquà River, where the safety gear and a safety explanation.
Our experienced guides combined with a well-synchronized team will experience together the emotions produced by the turbulent waters while the waves break over the bow, causing a splash that gets everybody wet.

Súper fun - James was our tour guide and he was very professional — he made the tour very fun and exciting. The driver picked us up at the hotel and gave us a great overview on the way to the river. I highly recommend it.

I am 89 years old and the staff wss so solicitous that it made trip just memorable

Thrilling experience! - White water rafting in the Sarapiqui River was fantastic and our favorite outdoors activity in the La Fortuna area! Our guide Pablo E. clearly has a lot of pride for the area and gave us a tour of the local landscape during our ride. He was also very funny! The rafting was thrilling and fun (level 3/4) and it was just the two of us along with Pablo and Roman, the other guide who took pictures. The water was not too cold and we had a snack in the middle. Cannot recommend the experience enough!

Loving the Whitewater - Rafting with James was fantastic. Very professional, safety first. As an experienced rafter this was a fun trip. Not too challenging, but certainly worth going. If you want more of an adrenaline rush wait a few more weeks for the rainy season to kick in. Our photographer Jeffery kayaked ahead and took some great photos of our boat coming through the whitewater. Something you can’t do on your own. A delicious lunch to finish the trip. I totally recommend Jacamar.

Amazing River Rafting! - Amazing. Service was great, and the snacks were the icing on the cake. Loved the enthusiasm of the guides, and the lunch was amazing! Highly reccomend.

Great experience with lots of adrenalin - A bus picked us from the hotel right on time. On the way Yader the instructor explained everything we had to know. We drives around 1:15 hours to the spot where we started. After a short practice we started the rafting. It was so much fun and full of jumps and adrenalin. Yader was profesional and funny. We stopped on the way for some fruits. The first part is really fast and the second part is easier and them you can spot the jungles around with plenty of animals. At the end we came back and a nice lunch in a local typical restaurant. Buy water shoes at any shop in La Fortuna for 12$. Completely worth it.

Exhilarating ! - Lucked out that our hotel recommended them. Everything was perfect. We were rafting newbies but James and Rommel took such great care of us.
It was exhilarating. Loved every second, even the intense ones. Jacamar is very fortunate to have both of them. Rommel takes great photos. Do notice when you can't see him up ahead as he's getting ready for photos which means you have some exhibiting rapids coming up.
Note:. You will get drenched. Bring dry clothes. They provide towel.

Challenge yourself to Class 4 rapids! - We enjoyed the knowledgeable staff who also ensured we had fun and felt confident and safe. We thought the class 4 was amazing and we’ll never raft less than a class 4 going forward! It was a wonderful day mixed with excitement on the rapids and some rest time on the river to enjoy the trees, wildlife and hop in for a swim! All of our guides were approachable, patient, and there for our questions and whatever we needed. The lunch at the end was delicious and a great way to wrap up the adventure.

Amazing whitewater rafting experience! - Amazing experience! Francisco and his team did an excellent job! These were some very challenging rapids and these did a great job keeping us safe. The fresh fruit break and lunch afterwards were great! Definitely book this!

You have to try this! - Miguel gave a brilliant safety briefing, keeping it entertaining but informative on the journey to the river,
plus stopped to show us some sloths and monkeys! Roverto was our crazy but fun rafting guide, who we felt very safe with and he made the experience extra fun with his antics! A really great team, would highly recommend to anyone - we hadn’t been rafting before and this level was great!
Lunch was delicious and the whole day was fantastic.
