Where you’ll be
Experience begins in La Fortuna, then we drive for 30 minutes until we get to our starting point in La Perla town. Once arrived, you’ll be able to use the restroom and get a short safety speech while getting prepared for this exciting experience on the Peñas Blancas river where you get to float down its quiet waters while see sighting animals.

Floating Wildlife Adventure! - Beth and Mario picked us up at our resort and described the CR culture as we drive to the river. They were very patient with our questions, thorough with instructions to begin our float tour. On the river we saw lots of monkeys, a variety of beautiful birds, giant wasp and termite nests, iguanas, an alligator, sloth, sea otters, and a rare animal that looks like part dog/part cat. We had delicious fresh fruit at the end and a cold cerveza. It was a very memorable float trip!

Incredible Private Tour With Bethshiva - Wow! This was one of the best tours we’ve ever had in Costa Rica! My fiancè and I got a private tour with Bethshiva and it was amazing! Beth is so knowledgeable, friendly, funny and charismatic. We felt super safe in her company and with her instructions. She provided us with beer, fruit & juice at the end! We saw lots of beautiful birds, a sloth, howler monkeys, a caiman & gorgeous trees/flowers. It was very relaxing and so fun!! 10/10 recommend.

Beautiful views and an amazing host! - This Wildlife experience was amazing and a great way to start our trip. Our host Bethshiva has such a great personality which made the experience that much more enjoyable. Beautiful views and wildlife, and end with fresh fruit and drink. Highly recommend!

Fun, exciting, safe. Experienced guide. - This was a great trip! We saw turtles, a crocodile, monkeys, King Fishers, anhingas and more. Beth runs a safe but exiting tour, and best of all, fun.

BOOK THIS TOUR!!! You won’t regret it! - I knew I would book this tour from the moment I found it online. I have a travel company through which I bring small groups of women to various parts of the world. I like to support women entrepreneurs who care about sustainable travel. After reading Beth’s bio and the reviews, I knew this would be the perfect tour us…AND IT WAS!!!! Rafting down a beautiful, peaceful river, hearing just the sounds of nature, was delightful. Beth was an extraordinary guide, keeping us safe and well informed every step of the way. Her personality is welcoming and caring. She speaks English very well. We saw birds, turtles, iguanas, a small crocodile, and several monkeys swinging from the trees. We loved every minute of it and were so sad when it ended. We spent the next day with Beth too, doing the chocolate and coffee tour, as well as the hanging bridges. Both days were truly memorable! Thank you Beth!!!

Wildlife cruise and experience by raft - Highly recommend Beth! Really informative and passionate about her work.
We have spent a few weeks in Costa Rica, each experience has been amazing but Beth was the first female guide that we had seen, glad to have found her! Girl power 💪

BOOK THIS NOW! - What an incredible experience with Bethshiva! She was so warm, knowledgeable, and bright, happily answering our litany of questions not only related to the terrain, but general Costa Rican life. It was like being in a movie and we even got to see some howler monkeys, unique birds, and an elusive tayra. The river/speed itself is very chill so this would work just fine for kids or seniors. The driver and transportation were also more than comfortable and the pineapple treat at the end was literally the best pineapple we’ve ever tasted. I cannot recommend this tour enough. It’s immersive, educational, and all around so special. Thank you, Bethshiva! You’re awesome 🙌

Beautiful day on the river - What a great experience for my family and I. We had a peaceful and beautiful time floating down the river. Our guide, Beth, was friendly and an expert on the river. We enjoyed this trip immensely and highly recommend it for other families. We saw many monkeys, a sloth, iguanas, basilisks, a snake bird, kingfishers and even a crocodile sunning by the riverside. This excursion was among our favorite Costa Rican experiences.

Safary in La Fortuna - An excellent tour, very nice, both the Guide and the owner take the time to explain about the flora and fauna of the place, on the tour I saw several animals including a family of monkeys and I could appreciate several types of birds, the tour I found very nice to do with family or friends. I also found it great that they work with new equipment.
