Great half day tour option from La Fortuna - This tour turned out to be part of a larger day tour so most people on the activity continued on to La Fortuna waterfall and Arenal Volcano. Not a big deal but we weren't expecting the group to be split.
Our guide Chino was amazing and showed us a ton of wildlife including toucans, pit vipers, and various other birds and frogs. Mystico is a beautiful park and even if you don't see much wildlife the setting is fabulous.

A must-do if you’re around Arenal - Early morning hotel pick-up on time and very smooth. A 3 hour walk through beautiful scenery, with fascinating flora and fauna, and taking in 5 hanging bridges, which were very manageable for someone with a lifelong aversion to heights! Fabricio, our guide, was courteous, humorous, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I doubt we could have had a better guide.
Standout moment was probably a haloween snake asphyxiating and swallowing a lizard. Slightly macabre but certainly memorable!
Go as early in the morning as you can, the birds will probably be better and it will be less busy.

Great experience - We really enjoyed this tour. We met the operator in downtown La Fortuna and rode in a comfy van from there. Our group was 10 so not too big for us all to see and hear. Will our guide was fun, friendly and knowledgeable, spotting several small frogs, snakes, lizards and tarantulas for us. We also saw great views of spider monkeys and howler monkeys. Sadly, no sloths on this trip. But Mistico was beautiful, offering amazing views of the canopy, valley and our best view of Arenal of the trip. Highly recommend.

Diverse wildlife tour with expert guide - We were very impressed with Mistico and how well they handled a booking error from the hotel, as they went out of their way to find a guide for us, even though they were booked out. Our guide, Edgar, was so knowledgeable and had walked the night so he could find the snakes and lizards camouflaged in the trees. He 'called' to the monkeys and we saw two juveniles playing up in the canopy, and a mother with baby.

Hanging Bridges - Wilbur was our excellent tour guide for this hike through the rain forest and across hanging bridges with spectacular views! At each notably interesting moment, Wilbur told a relevant story and knowledge share that showed a comprehensive understanding of the ecosystem and geography. Highly recommend this tour with Wilbur!

Excellent guide at beautiful Hanging Bridges - We did a guided tour (group not private) at 7am. So happy we paid for a guide - Naza was so great and knowledgeable and spotted wildlife that we definitely would not have without her! Only tip for anyone who gets hangry (like my 10 year old!) - leave yourself time to eat snacks before you go in as you can't take snacks with you. Because of the wildlife we saw, our tour lasted more than 2 hours and my son was struggling by the end (as hadn't had much breakfast). Beautiful place.

Very nice and interesting tour!!! - A great guided tour with Indira (Indi), the guide with the best taste in music (Heroes del Silencio es Cultura!) It was super instructive, entertaining and there were lots of animals to see, although we were apparently already a little late. But Indira discovered even the smallest frog. But there were also many birds, howler monkeys, lizards, snakes and and and. The suspension bridges are really fun and provide fantastic views. Really highly recommended!!!

Industrial Tourism - Group of 12, sandwiched between other groups of 12.
Not a whole lot to see.
You have to be really keen on hanging bridges to appreciate this expensive commercial tourism experience
There are many more interesting things to see/do in Costa Rica
