- P.º Andrés Segovia, 55 - Starting at sea level from the town of La Herradura you will be climbing to an altitude of 2500 ft (770m) to reach Peña Escrita. You will pass through some of the most stunning Andalucian countryside as you travel inland on this meteoric climb towards the base of the Peña Escrita mountains. Here you can breathe in the views which stretch up the beautiful shorelines of the Costa Tropical & Costa Del Sol. Stopping at scenic photo oportunities on the route to immortalise your memories of this adventure.
On arrival at the base of Peña Escrita you will enjoy soft drinks and an Andalucian style picnic. On the descent route after winding down through the village of Cerval the route goes off road on to tracks to complete the return journey to the Buggy base.

- All drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have a full car driving licence with them on the day of the tour.
- All drivers must wear suitable shoes for driving ie. Not flip flops.

The meeting point is on the beach opposite the bar/restaurant called Restaurante Paraiso which is on the beach road towards the west end of the beach in the town of La Herradura. Look out for the Buggy Buggy tours vehicle.

Off to the mountains. - We were very enthusiastic about the tour. The organization and the picnic were great. Alfred is very attentive to his customers and is concerned about safety in every situation. During the tour we learned a lot about the hinterland of La Herradura. Many thanks also to your wife for the good food.

10/10 would recommend - One of the best acitivites planned for the holiday so far and well worth it!
Me and my close friend got super lucky finding this tour with Google maps that we decided to give it a go.
From the get-go, they were super helpful and patient with us, despite a few set backs on our side, they never got frustrated or irritable, instead they put us at ease through the whole thing, explained everything thoroughly and we quickly learned they had a cracking sense of humour!
The route itself was a mixture of all types of roads which will please the daredevil in you, from the highway to the long, narrow, winding dirt roads up the mountain. Both stopping points are beautifully picturesque that would get you staring in awe at the view.
For something to do in La Herradura, this is definitely one to add on the to-do list, especially if you have adventurous children! We've already book another tour at a later date to bring more friends along for the ride.

We would highly recommend . - We booked the three hour tour which took us high in the mountains and we really enjoyed . Alfred our guide , was a gentleman and was very knowledgeable about the local area . he stopped at some great viewing points along the trip . Overall it was a great experience .

Buggy Adventure in southern Spain! - We had an excellent afternoon with the host Alfred. He was patient with us arriving late and he made the drive absolutely awesome! Highly recommended as the top adventure excursion in the Almunecar area!

Fabulous, unique way to experience the natural beauty of Andalucia - Beautiful, scenic ride punctuated by breathtaking vistas and visceral thrills. Jeroen and Alfred were wonderful, witty and knowledgeable guides. Went with my best friend and 11 year old son, who asked midway through if there was any way we could do the trip again! Can’t recommend this enough.

Breathtaking - Amazing time on the scenic drive up stopped along the way and Alf explained all the landscape the views were breathtaking on way up lovely lunch chat with the lads and great off roading on way down highly recommended one of highlights of the holidays strongly recommend
