- Mirador de La Bermeja - Before starting the activity our professional canyoning guide will provide you the specific equipment that you will use during the descent and will give you a short briefing of the activity talking about the technical instructions for progression and safety regulations.
The approach to this canyon begins on a beautiful forest track surrounded by Canary pine trees where you will walk for about 45 minutes. The start of the descent begins with a first rappel of about 22 meters.
Once in the canyon you will decent several different rappels using ropes where every rappel will be a different adventure due to you will have to do different techniques.
During this tour you will be able to observe how the accumulation of volcanic ash, which together with the erosion produced by the passing of the years formed this spectacular canyon with orange and yellow tones.
After finishing the 7-8 different rappels you will arrive to another forest track that will take you to end of the activity after hiking for about 20 minutes approximately.

If you are going to drive at the meeting point from the north of the island (La Orotava).
It is highly recommended to follow the TF-21 road and follow the signal of (El Teide).
If you follow the GPS instructions, you will take shortcuts on very steep and narrow roads.

Great experience - This was my favorite part of my trip. If you like Adventure and nature, This is a must. Jorge, our guide, was amazing. Very professional, patient and made us all feel safe.

Not to be missed! - The guide, Jorge, was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He helped give me confidence and his technical skills to ensure we were all safe were very high.
Only 15 people can go into the canyon each day, so this is a real privilege.
This experience was the highlight of my holiday.

Amazing experience - My girlfriend and I went on this tour, even though we weren't beginners, and still had an amazing time! The entire hike is beautiful from start to finish. There is a fair amount of hiking involved. I would suggest adhering to the long pants recommendation, there are lots plenty of spots those will come in handy. Jorge was our guide and he did an amazing job. He is clearly knowledgeable about the area, he speaks great english, and was very easy to get along with.

Very good atmosphere and rhythm - Jorge is a great Guide who gives confidence and clear instructions.
Our children were 14 and 16 years old and had already climbed.
The canyon is very beautiful.
The duration and rhythm of the outing were perfect.

What a great day! - What an amazing day! Jorge was the perfect guide for this day in the canyon. He’s strong, safe and quite good at guiding you through an adventurous day.
This is for beginners to canyoning but it will stretch your understanding of what you think you are capable of. It’s exciting and challenging and beautiful.
Would highly recommend this tour if you are in good health. You don’t need to be in great shape, but in good health.

A must do! - Absolutely recommendable trip!
Jorge is a professional leader and the spirit with this small group was great.
The beautiful, well shaped canyon feels like Petra in Jordan. The variety of Rappels is interesting even for more experienced “cliff hangers” ;-).
A must do on Tenerife!

Fun activity in beautiful surroundings! - It was a perfect day canyoning with Jorge! The trip was fun and very manageable, even for us with no prior knowledge. Jorge was very patient and took good care of everyone. We felt safe the whole way and even got a taste for canyoning/rappelling. In addition, we also learned interesting facts along the way. The mountain formations were also incredibly beautiful and the guide took lots of nice photos along the way which he sent to us. Recommended!

An amazing day out - Had an amazing time doing canyoneering with Jorge, he was great making it fun for the ones of us more comfortable in the mountains and the ones new to canyoneering. Really a great experience would highly recommend whether u have done it before or are new to it. I will be definitely getting back in touch soon to do this again with my partner. Also the pictures don’t do it justice the views are better!
