La Orotava, a magnificent Colonial town, is home to grand residences from the 16th, 17th, 18th centuries. It is located in the Orotava valley under the majestic Teide volcano. As a significant spiritual hub, the town boasts quaint, captivating chapels and churches with impressive architectural splendor. During the Guanches period (ancient Tenerife natives), it was known as the Kingdom of Old Tahoro. Its spiritual nature stems from the 5 religious sects that settled here during the 15th, 16th, 17th centuries in this town, including the Freemason Lodge Tahoro.
