Very unique and fun experience - It was a very fun and unique experience! Our captains work hard to make sure we are all having a good time. We laugh at our bad kayaking skills but luckily the captains were nice and patient and helped us out, Jaime, our savior captain, had great stories and recommendations for places to eat. A few recommendations: you need to bring changing clothes, the water leaves a smell to fish in your clothes (because of the planktons) and you get very wet while kayaking so a changing outfit is a must. Also leave early as there was traffic getting there.

Fantastic Experience - This company, and Capt. Johhny, aboard the small boat Gina, was a fantastic experience. I would say it was a shame that only the two of us went in the water, while everyone else watched and stayed dry; then again, we were happy no one else did and we got to experience the bioluminescence all by ourselves. Definitely a MUST to swim around the boat. Also the perfect place to propose!!!

Swimming in Bio Bay is a must! - If you want to sparkle as you swim and be mesmerized by bioluminescence, book this trip! We swam and getting in the water is a must. The water was warm and we loved it! A nadded bonus was the starry sky on the night of the new moon. The captain of the boat was a bit gruff but he explained what we were doing, hooked floaties around our waists and helped us in and out of the boat. You don’t need anything more.

Amazing! - It was awesome! We went near a new moon so it was good conditions to see. The water was not cold. Bring clear goggles. The boat driver was very nice, I think he gave us extra time as the last tour of the night, but I’m not sure.

Great experience - Great experience in general, but our host was gruff and barely spoke to us. People were unclear on instructions. It could have been amazing with a bit more kindness and friendliness. Would have been wonderful if our host offered to take pictures for us too.

Worth the money! - Amazing experience!! My party of 7 arrived late and the owners were so flexible. 13 people on our 715pm trip. It’s a pleasant boat ride out to the swim spot and back. I highly recommend going on a night with no moon. The swim in the bioluminescence was very very cool, one of the highlights of our trip. And the night sky is gorgeous. Only four stars since you’re only allowed to swim about 20 minutes and I could’ve spent hours there but it was all Terrific !

Not what expected - If you’re expecting an excursion where you’re surrounded by glowing fish, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a super friendly captain who engages with you and your family, you won’t find that here either. The warm swim and sparkly water were nice to experience, and the stars in the sky added to the beauty of the night. We were grateful for the wonderful family that joined us on the trip, but overall, I’d recommend finding another company for this type of excursion.

Disappointing - The pictures are misleading - or only happen sporadically. The tour did not go far enough away from the distraction of town lights - even on a new moon night. The guide did not give any information and did not advise us on best ways to enhance the effect. Most of our group were very disappointed.
