IMPORTANT INFORMATION
There are 4 turns to get into the Whale Shark area each day and there’s a limited number of boats that go in depending on how many Whale Sharks are in the area. The turns are assigned via WhatsApp and they are given in the order in which they receive the messages. We always aim for the second turn ( 9 AM) but there are days that we don’t get it, so we have to ask for a chance in the 3rd or 4th turn. We cannot guarantee that we will get a turn or which turn we will get until after the turns are assigned each day. We will get in contact with you if we don’t get the desired turn (9 am) to let you know the turn we got assigned.

*The location is on the corner of Topete and Legaspi street, go through the blue gate with the big "Marina de La Paz" sign and we will be waiting for you at the "Tour Meeting Point" area, just a few steps ahead by the boat ramp.

Amazing, up-close encounter! Bucket list item for sure!! - Amazing, up-close encounter with a gorgeous, peaceful whale shark! I couldn't believe how quickly and easily our guides found our shark. And then I couldn't believe what a chiller he was! We followed him for over 2 hours and he didn't care at all! He just swam along lazily and completely unbothered as we dawdled alongside him, switching out swimmers (as we could only approach him in groups of 4-6) every 10-15 minutes. It was such a surreal experience. And we got the most unbelievable underwater footage! I really appreciated our guides who took it for us and sent it to us afterwards for free! Such a great experience all around. Definitely a bucket list item worth checking off with this company.

SO FUN! - Such an incredible experience and our group was small which made the outing even more enjoyable. The guide was very knowledgable and very helpful as we experienced swimming with whale sharks for the first time. I loved every minute of this experience and will definitely be bringing my friends and family back to do it again.

Great experience from start to finish. - Great time. Swam with whale sharks and saw plenty of dolphins too! Highly recommend Tuna Tuna and Stephanie was a great and knowledgeable guide. 🌺

Amazing and unique opportunity - My girlfriend and I went on this tour to see whale sharks and sea lions. To my mistake we showed up a day early, nevertheless the tour operators were amazing and invited us to go that day. We had an amazing experience and really enjoyed seeing the marine life and Balandra bay. It was an incredible experience and they were so flexible and hard working. We had such an amazing experience. Definitely recommended this.

Whale Sharks, Solar Eclipse and Dolphins!! - I wanted to do something exciting on my 60th birthday AND check off something off my bucketlist -- swimming with whale sharks.
Initially, I had scheduled to snorkel with whale sharks on my birthday April 7 but got a text from Tuna Tuna Tours the day before asking if I could reschedule to April 8 due to windy weather conditions. I was disappointed but agreed.
Well...I am so glad that we went out on April 8 because not only did I snorkel/swim 3 different times with these beautiful whale sharks but experienced the solar eclipse afterwards on the boat AND had several dolphins swim near the boat
It was a fabulous experience!
Our guide Stephanie was informative, friendly, experienced and took great videos. Our boat captain was wonderful too always lending a helping hand when entering back into the boat.
Thank you Tuna Tuna Tours for a fun and memorable experience!

Amazing experience - Best experience!!! The guides were very knowledgeable and fun. Amazing! The whale sharks were huge and so peaceful. The sea lions were playful and interactive. Lunch was delicious. HIGHLY recommended!

Wonderful experience! - We were greeted at the dock by friendly staff members. Very well organized and efficient. Wonderful guide and captain. We received excellent instructions, the tour was incredibly informational and educational. Stephanie and Juan have a tremendous amount of respect for the environment and are very proud of the work they do. We were so lucky to be on their tour. Overall a wonderful and unforgettable experience!

A WOW experience - An impressive experience that is generally only seen on television.
The tour was professionally organized and the human side of the crew was never neglected!
The La Paz region offers - depending on the season - almost a guarantee that you will get your money's worth when it comes to adventure and being close to nature!
