Fly down the ‘world’s most dangerous road’ on this thrilling mountain-biking adventure! Leave from a high-altitude plain near La Paz, and follow expert guides downhill for 40 miles (64 km) on a narrow, winding road carved into the side of the incredible Andes. Take breaks along the way to admire the landscape that changes from the snowcapped Andes to the lush Amazonian jungle. This is one of the most incredible experiences in South America, and one you’ll want to do with the most reccomended company in Bolivia, which uses international safety standards and ensures incredible service. After the riding adventure, unwind at La Senda Verde Ecotourism Resort, an animal refuge, where you’ll enjoy lunch and observe rescued wildlife. Return to La Paz the same day, or stay overnight at La Senda Verde or in Coroico. This is one you’ll be telling the grandkids, so do it right!

An unique and adrenaline filled adventure down Death Road - Our guides, Chelo and Omar, and our driver Will were able to safely guide us down Death Road without taking anything away from the outstanding experience of descending one of the world’s most famous roads on top-of-the line mountain bikes.
From the get go, which for Gravity includes a delicious breakfast at Cafe del Mundo in beautiful downtown La Paz, Chelo and Omar made us feel welcome and part of the group; they were extremely friendly. That rapport developed during the drive as we learned a bit about each other, including the rest of the group and we were provided some important safety instructions. These were repeated a number of times throughout the experience which reinforced how seriously they took our safety. On that point, as we stopped to take in some of the breath-taking views at various locations throughout our descent, we were given pointers on how to address some of the upcoming sections, be it due to concerns about road conditions, steepness of the descent or simple reminders to stay at a safe distance from one another.
Once reaching the bottom of this incredible trek we were able to take a shower, eat a delicious meal (spaghetti with various sauce options, salad, veggies) and also had the opportunity to do a (paid) tour of the wildlife refuge (Senda Verde) which was the cherry on top for us.
When doing extreme sports it’s important that the company offering the tour is focused on safety; We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to do another tour with Gravity.

Fantastic death road downhill day! - Absolutely fantastic experience. The scenery was picturesque, the trail manageable, Noel and Omar very polite, experienced and professional guides, and also fun people to chat with. The wildlife sanctuary at the bottom skyrocketed the experience we had. Most certainly recommended.

Incredible experience! - Damian and the Gravity team provided an excellent adventure. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and personable, and the equipment was in very good condition. I had an amazing time and felt very safe and comfortable the whole way!

Unreal. Make the Death Road visit a priority. Words and pictures can’t do it justice. - The Death Road experience would be incredible on its own but the team at Gravity pull out all the stops to make sure it is an experience you will genuinely never forget.
Noel is an awesome guide and even better guy who made the adventure so much fun. He knows all the good spots, how to best pace the journey, and can take a mean photo.
The equipment (namely the bike) is first class and safety is made a priority without compromising the experience.
Anyone looking for breathtaking spectacle and an unforgettable adrenaline rush should do the Death Road tour, and do it with Gravity.

Amazing Death Road experience, guides were the best - We loved this tour! Gus and the team were amazing, they made sure everyone was having a good time, catered to different abilities of the group with ease, all while ensuring everyone felt super safe. They also took amazing photos and provided us access to the animal refuge - highly recommend doing the big cats tour while you’re there. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to ride Death Road!

Incredible and Exhilarating - Noel was an incredible guide and a lot of fun! He was super helpful and responsive before the trip as well, ensuring that all our questions were answered and even ensured we got back in time for an evening bus ride after the trip. He even helped us call a taxi when we got back to LA Paz. Noel went above and beyond his duties of a guide to make sure this trip was perfect.

Epic bike tour on Death Road - Gustavo and Alvaro were awesome tour guides, explaining some of the incidents that have occurred on that road. They prioritized our safety first and they made us laugh as well. Would highly recommend doing this.

Vet's perspective - Thank you so much to Noel, Oscar & Sdenka for an incredible day. We had so much fun on the bikes, this route is incredible- high mountains followed by unspoilt jungle road. I was impressed with the quality of service in particular from Noel who is an absolute star. From excellent and well maintained mountain bikes to how prepared the team are for eventualities. I work as a vet and was impressed by La Senda Verde Animal Refuge and what they do. Highly recommended
