An incredible experience with Chelo, Sdenka & Will! - Group of 4 friends went and had an amazing time! Chelo, Sdenka and Will were our guides and they were fantastic! The team were very supportive, chatty and pleasant! They were very patient and accomodating at every stage from booking to the bus home. Incredible experience for beginners and experienced cyclists alike. We were lucky enough to only have the 4 of us in the group which gave us lots of space in the van both ways and allowed us to take the entire cycle at our own pace!

Go With Gravity!! - Gravity Bike Tours is by far the best (and safest) operator on Death Road. My 26 yr old son & I went together. Both of us are experienced Mtn bikers, and we were lucky that all 13 people on our group were as well!! It was the highlight of our Bolivian trip!! Marcello & Luis explained every segment carefully before we rode, letting us know which side to ride on, what to look out for and any potential surprises. They were very safety conscious, and made it crazy fun as well. Definitely wear their full helmet and coat/pants as I It gets pretty mucky on the way down. It’s a full day tour, and the ride back up via the new road takes 3.5 hours. Oscar, our driver, managed the drive like a pro!! Not sure I would have been that calm and confident. If you’re going to ride the Death Road…book with Gravity!!

We live to climb mountains, to climb them , you have to take risks. - Amazing views , they call it the death road . If you listen to Luis from the start he explains WHAT you need to do to keep yourself safe. It was pretty cold at the start Chello gave us all protective clothing , helmets and gloves. My hands were white so he gave me extra gloves. Our driver Oscar followed us in the mini bus so as it got warmer we could remove inner layers. The road to be honest was great lots of curves and dust with a few flat rocks. We had 2 very small river crossings ans a small waterfall to fo under. At no stage did I want to stop or feel scared. We were provided with breakfast, morning tea, snacks, water and lunch at the most amazing animal sanctuary when we completed the ride. Our guides on our trip home shared information about what to do in Bolovia, some of the customs and told us about the indigenous people of Bolovia. We did this as a family .lots of photo opportunities and memories created . Would we do this again ?? Hell yes. Thanks Luis, Oscar and Chello

Best Bike Ride Ever! - The bike tour was truely spectacular - we were spoilt by both the views and our awesome guides - Chello, Luis and Oscar! They were very knowledgeable of the road and gave us many breaks, during which they gave safety recommendations for the next section of the road. Each break was enjoyed with a marvellous view and our guides took our photos to the next level giving us poses and the best angles. We finished the day at the animal sanctuary where we showered, ate and spent time with the animals which was epic. The bike was incredible and our guides really made the day as they had good humour and were very responsible with us :)))

Very good plan - Top-rated day tours near La Paz. You have to know how to ride a good bike, without having to be an expert. Not recommended for people who have spinal problems. The tour lasts all day, has beautiful scenery and the lunch they usually give at the tour agencies is rich
