- La Paz - Depart from La Paz at 7:00 am to the Tiquina Mirador viewpoint, arriving around 9:45 am and catching the ferry to cross the Tiquina crossing.
- Copacabana - Around 12:00 pm, you will arrive in Copacabana and have an hour free before departure at 1:00 pm.

- Isla del Sol - From 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, you will be able to walk around the sun temple Pilkokaina and the coast of Yumani.
- Copacabana - At 3:30 pm. you will go on the boat back to Copacabana from Yumani port. Arriving around 5:00 pm.
You will have about 45 minutes in Copacana to buy some snacks.
- La Paz - Around 5:45 pm, the bus departs from La Paz from the White Anchor. At 7:00 pm, you will go through the Tiquina crossing.
Arriving in La Paz around 10:30 pm.

Copacabana & Isla de Sol - Luis is great! Not only did his linguistic skills excite us, but his professional way as a guide, how he organized, communicated and explained everything, was also top. It's not a tour where you wander from shop to shop and are forced to buy something. We really enjoyed the day. Highly recommended!

Well organized and sunny trip to isla the sol - The tour was very well organized and the guid Louis made sure to never lose anybody and very knowledgeable. You can ask him anything, other trip options, restaurant recommendations. He always has good answer.

A wonderful experience - Luis was a fantastic guide! He communicated everything so clearly so we always knew what to expect. The guided tour of Isla del Sol was great. Luis gave us interesting information and it was nice that we didn’t have to worry about getting lost or arriving late to the boat. I would highly recommend!

An excellent experience - We did the La Paz to Copacabana to Isla del Sol tour with Bolivia Hop. Our guide Luis was extremely knowledgeable and professional and kept us well informed throughout the tour. He led the Isla del Sol tour at a comfortable pace and told us about the culture and history of the island along the way. Excellent value overall. Would definitely recommend.

Do it! - Great day with guides Abner and Nain. They were very caring and detail oriented and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and safe. They were excellent at handling logistics, as many people had different plans such as staying on Sun Island or continuing on to Peru. They communicated everything clearly. They even had a taxi waiting for me when we got back to LaPaz which I really appreciated. Highly recommend! Definitely worth seeing Lake Titicaca while you’re in LaPaz. Spectacular scenery and it’s fantastic taking the boat to the island.

Magic day - On time, comfortable bus and guide Emerson very clear, handles both languages very well. Very organized.
The only thing we didn't like was the restaurant in Copacabana, we didn't have much time to eat before getting on the boat to the Island.

Guide is great, bus is awful - While our guide Luis was great, the bus trip was awful.
My partner and I booked this two months in advance so we expected to have seats together on the bus. Our names were even the first on the list when I saw the sheet. However, our hostel was the last to be picked up and so we were split up and had to sit at the very back of the bus, uncomfortable with 5 other people, with seats that did not recline. To make matters worse there were solo travellers who had two seats to themselves, and I couldn’t believe how selfish this was but a COUPLE in front of us who were talking across the aisle, having two seats each, who could have easily moved together so that the five people on the back seat were not uncomfortable for the 5 hour drive. Selfish b*st*rds.
This review is about the first leg of our trip (24 hours La Paz to Cusco), hopefully the next bus we are on is a lot better. Especially since it will be overnight. This first bus didn’t even have a toilet. The first bus was also driven super dangerously and was bumpy as all hell.
Despite this, Luis was a great guide and the rainy weather cleared just as we arrived to the Isle of the Sun. He gave lots of helpful information and his English was decent.
