La Paz like San Francisco but the hills are bigger and no tech geeks! - La Paz is a fascinating, loud and very hilly city. It’s not without its charm but it’s not easy to walk around. That’s why this tour makes sense. Have a local and a car take you around and show you all the hidden nooks and crannies. The cable car ride really shows you how chaotic this city is. La Paz “Designed” and I use that term loosely to look like a favela but built on ever shifting clay in what I can only describe as a crater of the moon. The people at the markets are warm and friendly and the sites spectacular. The guide fills you in on the little nuances of La Paz Bolivian life. Spend a few hours and take your time when climbing the hills, 12,000 feet is no joke!
