Today, embark on an unforgettable journey across 4,600 square miles of stunning salt landscapes. Get your cameras ready! The brilliant white expanse of Uyuni’s Salt Flats resembles a vast glacier.

During winter (the dry season from May to October), the surface hardens, revealing geometric patterns formed by salt particles clustered into polygons. In summer (the wet season from November to February), the salty desert transforms into a giant mirror, reflecting the purest sky in the Americas. Our first stop will be the Train Cemetery, followed by entering the Salt Flats through Colchani, where visitors can purchase handcrafted items made from salt, and beyond that, the salt hills.

Once on the expansive white desert, we will explore the hotel constructed entirely of salt, the waterholes, and journey to the central point to visit Incahuasi Island, known for its volcanic rocks, giant cacti, and a summit that, when climbed, offers an extraordinary view of the salt-white plain.

After exploring the island, we will enjoy lunch and, in the evening, return to Uyuni to catch the night buses in time for their departures. Arrival back in Uyuni is approximately at 19:00 hrs.
