Tour de France - We had a blast on this tour with Max and Claudia. We loved the tour today. So much to see and so much fun being on the segways. It was great doing it at 10 because then we got to see the parts of La Rochelle that we wanted to come back to.

Pleasant and original walk - Beautiful walk with the heritage formula of one and a half hours. Guide (Mathilde) pleasant, smiling and precise in her explanations. A good experience.

Disappointing that there was no English commentary. - There were 4 English speakers and 2 French speaking guests on the tour. The guide could speak English but only gave the commentary in French. We were handed a laminated card with a brief written text about each site. The guide pointed out which block of text matched which site. The tourist signs outside each site provided a more comprehensive description in 3 languages including English. The tour lacked any personality or atmosphere. There was no information about the people of the city, their food or customs. Save your money and download a walking guide and read the tourist signs.
