Viva Dominicus Beach by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive - Program begins at 9.00 am at the dive club. There you’ll meet your dive instructor, a certified professional. You will fill online the necessary documentation and a medical questionnaire. The program is broken into three parts: a briefing, a pool session, and an ocean dive. After briefing you will head to the pool. Under the watchful eye of your instructor, practice basic diving skills and get familiar with the tank, BCD, regulator, mask, and other diving equipment. Learn how to control your buoyancy and breathe underwater!
After the pool session you will head to the beach to start your first open ocean dive. After entering the water with the instructor, you will check your new skills during an open-water dive.
As you discover the amazing experience of swimming with colorful fish around the Viva Reef or Coral Garden, you’ll be a converted diving lover!

Experience your initial subaquatic inhalation and master diving skills in the Caribbean Sea, Bayahibe. Uncover the wonders of the submerged environment by enrolling in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program. The exotic coral reefs are teeming with attractive aquatic life, so dive in and examine them! This brief preparatory program under a PADI-certified trainer involves an orientation, a pool practice, and a single sea dive in the Caribbean. By the completion, you’ll be captivated and prepared to progress your diving studies!
- Minimum age is 10 years
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Not recommended for pregnant women and participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions
- Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended
- All participants are required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving; some pre-existing medical conditions (e.g. asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving; please consult your doctor
- Dive is subject to weather conditions
- It is recommended that you bring/wear your swimsuit, sunscreen, a hat, towel and water. You may also bring packed snacks

So great I only wish it lasted longer! - Wow what a great experience. I’m now addicted to scuba diving after taking the initial course. The only thing I’m bummed about is that the entire course only took about 2 1/2 hours. So when we were told
It was over we got a little bummed because we wanted to keep going. The instructed and photographer were great and really made us feel at ease and calmed any nerves we had. Definitely recommend!

Great Experience with need for repetition - The Team was just amazing and everyone was super friendly and open to help you. Special Thanks to Kim, she is a fantastic Dive Instructor and her advices were just helpful in every Situation. I can highly recommend going for dives with the Reef Oasis Dive Club.

Amazing experience - For my second experience I only thought of doing a discovery dive and in the end I just passed my padi scuba diver certification. Very happy with this wonderful experience where I enjoyed and felt safe. A thousand thanks to Miguel An attentive instructor, who takes the time to explain, to rehearse if necessary and who transmits his passion for diving to us. I highly recommend this PADI diving center for its equipment, cleanliness, warm atmosphere, seriousness and professionalism of the instructors. Thank you again for these unforgettable moments.

Must-visit - We decided spontaneously to join a diving lesson at the Wyndham hotel and it was a great experience!! I have never been diving before, but felt so safe all the time. We were a group of four and Mustafa (who also speaks German) explained very well each step in advance. Then we went out with diving instructor Mikey, who is a very calm person and took best care of us. He has always been close to us to make sure that everything is ok and took us to the wonderful little shipwreck in front of the hotel. Definetly a must in Bayahibe!

Exciting experience on holiday - Very good experience with this course which we attend. Instructors are very good professionals. They explain us everything necessary. Moreover, we had a lot of time to practice in the nearby pool in the morning.
We went to sea and dive deeper after few hours later.
We recommend this course for the first time diver. You learn basics of diving and you get base certificate of diving.
They also have options for more skilled persons.

Scuba diving course in Bayaibe - Narcissio is an amazing teacher. We took the scuba diving course with our two kids (14 and 15 years old). The team is very fun.

Unbelievable fun!!! - I took the DSD course with my 11-year-old. First time for both of us. It was absolutely amazing!
The instructors were fantastic - patient, encouraging, so much fun. They made us feel very safe. Lots of one-on-one attention and they made sure we were very comfortable with every step.
We ended up going on a second dive a couple days later.

If you are staying at the Viva... - <p>If you are staying at the Viva Wyndham, I would suggest booking this tour. Otherwise, I would highly suggest against booking this tour. The staff is wonderful, but the excursion is spread out throughout the day and has two separate two hour breaks between parts of the excursion. During the breaks we were constantly harassed by Viva staff for not being guests not having bracelets and most are unaware that there is an excursion for non-guests on the site. To avoid being harassed during our second break, we just took a taxi back to our resort and going back and forth three times ended up costing more than the excursion itself. Additionally, we were reprimanded for not checking in a day in advance, but the number Viator provided us was out of service.</p>
