Saona Island is part of the National Park of Cotubanama, let’s embark on this journey! A brief pause in front of the Penon will allow our guide to provide insights about this cliff and the Taino natives.
Continuing on, we will pause at the mangroves to explore them and the surrounding nature.
- Catuano - Our initial stop on Saona Island will be Catuano Beach. You’ll have approximately 20 minutes to snorkel in this stunning location or simply relax and bask in the sun, as you prefer.
- Saona Island - It’s time to head to Saona Island where a delightful Dominican lunch awaits you. After dining, put on your hat and sunscreen for a swim in Saona’s turquoise waters. You’ll have about an hour to enjoy the beach, capture amazing photos, or unwind by the shore.
- Dominican Republic - Finally, we’ll conclude with a visit to the renowned natural pool, where you can observe large starfish (please refrain from touching them). It’s also an ideal moment to savor a drink in the Caribbean’s crystal-clear waters—a truly magical, unforgettable experience.
- Bayahibe - We’ll return to the port in Bayahibe with cherished memories, where your transport will be ready to take you back to the port of La Romana.
