Highlights
  • Lerici - During the tour we will have the opportunity to see the splendid Lerici from the sea, with its characteristic marina full of sailing boats and colorful houses which together form a very suggestive landscape. Together with the Castle that dominates the city this part offers a very fascinating moment!
  • Caletta Di Lerici - As soon as we leave Lerici behind, we will continue along the coast to reach a magical place, characterized by small beaches hidden among the rocks, immersed in a breathtaking natural context!
  • Tellaro - Tellaro, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, deserves to be seen from the sea, with the village perched on a cliff facing the Gulf of Poets surrounded by a crystal clear sea!
  • Portovenere - From the meeting point we will leave towards Portovenere, a splendid pearl on the sea! During the first part of the tour we will have the opportunity to admire the internal landscapes of the gulf that will surround us, we will pass along the city villages, until we reach the Gulf dam where there are the nurseries, the characteristic muscle and oyster farms. We will pass in front of Portovenere, a very characteristic location for being beautiful and romantic at the same time, along the stretch of sea between Portovenere and the Palmaria island located right in front. We will continue slowly to fully enjoy the surrounding landscape, with the possibility of taking some photos or enjoying a few minutes of relaxation in front of the wonderful church of San Pietro, which stands at the furthest point of the town and overlooks the open sea.
  • Grotta di Byron - Just behind the church of San Pietro in Portovenere, there is the Byron Cave, named after the famous poet Lord Byron whose legend says that he often came to that cave to get inspiration for his poems, a very fascinating place!
  • Isola Palmaria - The Palmaria island is located right in front of Portovenere, and it offers very beautiful coves with crystal clear water.
  • Isola Del Tinetto - Absolutely not to be missed, one of the favorite destinations for “locals”, Tinetto is the smallest of the islands that form the small archipelago in front of Portovenere. Watching the sunset from here is fantastic!

Best part of our trip!! - Our boat trip with Andrea was an absolute highlight for us! He was super nice, very flexible with what we wanted to do, and he obviously knows a lot about the area. He took us to some popular and lesser known spots for swimming and sight seeing. He also picked up dinner for us and some more drinks to top up whay he already brought with him. For anybody with dietary restrictions, you can bring your own food as well. Definitely recommend this trip with Andrea, we had SO much fun and would do it all again!

Highlight of our trip - Highlight of our trip. Really easy to get to boat from the cruise terminal. Andrea is a local and was very accommodating. We went on a morning tour and he brought us fresh pastries. After a refreshing swim in the Mediterranean, we had freshly cooked seafood with beer and wine. Great way to finish your seven day cruise.

Small boat with BIG personality - Our captain, Andrea, is simply charming, shares his quest for life with his enthusiasm of wanting to provide the best experience. He succeeds in every category. His instructions where to meet were concise and easy to find. Its a 10 minute walk from outside main cruise terminal. Once all settled he pulled out fresh pastries and choice of beverages. We all agreed that Cinque Terre is somewhat over rated, yet lovely to observe from the crystal clear water we sailed in. After seeing Vernazza, Andrea then served fresh focaccia, pizza and cheese bread and offered wine, procecco or soda. The town of Porto Venere, although not as well known looks well worth a visit on its own next time.

A sunset cruise with Andrea in Lerici: the best thing you can do! - A charming, versatile, interesting and funny captain and wonderful host, combined with the magnificent natural scenery of Lerici and Porto Venere! At sunset, we finally enjoyed a wonderful aperitivo with prosecco, focaccia and pizza, which Andrea offered us. An unforgettable experience! Thank you so much Andrea!

Like getting on your friend's boat - A great sunset tour with Andrea. He is a friendly host and made us feel safe and comfortable. He showed us places in the area that as tourists you would otherwise miss by just going to Cinque Terre. He served some great wine and delicious focaccia for us as we got to watch the sunset. He is proud of his local area and it shows. For a small group tour, it felt personal and engaging, which we preferred to a bigger touristic group tour. I would recommend to anyone.
