Sunta and Terese - Certainly the scenery. Walking up the hills then down to the ocean was unique. The guides was incredibly good. Both the ladies excelled.

Great tour of the villages - We had a great tour with Alex. He was very knowledgeable and added a touch of humor to keep things light. He also did a good job of taking the group to less-populated areas as the villages were quite busy.

Beautiful tour but be prepared to walk - Our tour guide was very good. He greeted us warmly. Our guide was great he took us to all the villages and gave us time to explore. I will say this tour has A LOT and I do mean ALOT of walking starting from the cruise port to the train station. Although the walking was alot our tour guide made the tour enjoyable. He made sure that we all got back to the cruise port on time. He was great.

Best way for a 1-day cruise port stop - For just a one day cruise port stop we felt there wasn't really a lot of time. In stead trying to do Florence in an hour, or Pisa tower, we chose this nice relaxing walking train tour - seeing all the marvelous landmark scenic spots. Our guide brought us to her most favorite gelato shop too. We enjoyed this tour very much.

Nice guide great views. - It was good if you are a new traveler. We travel a lot, The guide was nice, but we really could have done it on our own by purchasing an all day rail pass for less money.

Beautiful streets and towns. - Our guides were very helpful and accommodating with the schedule we had. There was a little more walking to the train station than we expected and it was raining so we started a little down but the rest of the day was great.

Incredible Location! Guide was Lacking. - Cinque Terre was beautiful! An amazing experience. The train access was easy. The guide was not attentive or informative. We had to ask for information repeatedly, with an answer of “I don’t know” sometimes. The Jude. The Guide lost guests on the train several times. Traveling from Cruise Port Terminal, a walk of 30-40 minutes to the train station was required before and after the tour. It would be preferable if transportation had been provided. Time at each village was shorter than promised, leaving little time to explore, swim, fine, shop, etc. This tour could easily be organized on your own. Train tickets are available online and there are many posts with detailed information on how to DIY. The only reason we booked the tour was to hear the Guide’s location detail and information, which was never given.

Could have done that on my own. - Not a lot of historical information. Following the guide was not beneficial. My advise: Buy a Cinq terre train pass and do it at your own past instead !

Hated it - Took the train from La Spezia to Cinque Terra and it cost $40 Euro ($75 AUD) IONE WAY!! and it was only valid from La Spezia to Monterosso. Then to top it off we had to pay another $40 Euro to get back. That’s $150 AUD to go to a very average beach!!! The staff are beyond rude, like u owe them something..! Treat people like crap, entitled bunch of you know what’s. These people rely on tourism but you wouldn’t know it. Everywhere we went it felt like we were inconveniencing them. Don’t waste your time & money coming here!!
