Picturesque - My guide - unfortunately cannot remember her name, was most informative about where to be at what time and how the train system worked. She was also informative about what to see and the best advantage points to capture photos etc.

Lovely day, beautiful... - Lovely day, beautiful train ride. 3 small villages, all gorgeous views and fabulous picture taking opportunities. Be prepared for lots of climbing if you want to see anything, but very much worth it.

Cinque Terre by Train - The tour by train was a perfect way for the first visit to Cinque Terre. The trains are very comfortable. Lisa was a great guide. Walking the streets of the villages you visit gives you the feel of the places. It should be suplemented with a boat tour for a complete experience. If you have a choice, go during the week when less people visit.

Cinque Terre tour from La Spezia - This tour is a must! If you are lucky enough to have Serena as your guide, it will make your experience even more amazing. She gave us in depth information about the villages and gave us a great balance of guided tour and time on our own. The villages are breathtakingly beautiful.

Cinque Terre is a MUST - We went 2 days ago and loved it especially the lemoncino and of course we bought a bottle wish we’d bought 2. The guide was excellent and because it was a small group we were able to go to Manarola as well which saved us going another day and gave us a well overdue R&R day. We think you need to go by train and also boat to get different perspectives of this beautiful region. We love it here

Excellent cinque terre trip - Our guide was wonderful! She was so enthusiastic and well spoken! She handled the English and Spanish languages easily and kept us all engaged! I recommend this tour highly. Just the right amount of free time.

Could Have Been Better - What was memorable? The rushed speed at which we experienced the three stops. Also, for one of the stops (travel via train), the train was incredibly and unsafely packed. With small children not being able to remain with their party because we could not fit in the same train car. In general, the three little towns are gorgeous… we would have preferred more time in ONE of the towns vs rushing through all three. P.s. lunch time was scehduled at the start of siesta time in the 3rd stop. The restaurants were closing as we were attempting to secure lunch. We were fortunate to come across a restaurant that agreed to serve us if we agreed to a drastically reduced menu selection.

Haro on tourists - La PANNE has had a makeover: the sidewalks and streets are very successful except that now it is impossible to park. There is no more room for cars and the only ones available are for 30 minutes by pick and go or at exorbitant prices for the day. Add to this that with PLOPSALAND you have queues of several kilometers on the highway, so you spend your day in your car and not at the beach. Flee La Panne, and prefer the surrounding resorts. The traders of La Panne complain about this situation which hinders the arrival of tourists. How could such an anti-tourist policy be implemented? We will tell you that there are 2 public car parks but very small and far from the center. Just there to make people believe and clear their conscience. Next to you have Koksidje, Bray Dune for example....

Worst tour ever!! - Worst tour ever!! Guide showed up 20 minutes late. Customer Support never answered our call on hold for 12 minutes. Tour was to be English speaking. It was 6 English and about 20 Spanish. Guide spent many minutes at first stop discussing village in Spanish. By the time she finished telling us in English, we literally had to run through the village to see it before we left! Don't waste your money. You can get an all day Cinque Terre train pass from La Spezia for 12 EU and have a much better tour than we did!!!
