Cinque Terre never disappoints! - Veronica customized the tour because we had visited before. Porte Venere was a wonderful town we had not been before. We really enjoyed our day!

Beautiful Experience - Veronica was terrific in making suggestions for meals and sights. She showed us 3 villages and we took a boat and saw Corniglia en route. We sampled Limoncino on the tour, she told us where to go on our own in the last village (Riomaggiore), and which train to take back to the port. We had trouble finding her in time for the meet up after getting off the ship but navigated the train station on our own and she found us in the first visit to Manarola. If you do the excursion as part of your cruise, just allow time on each end to meet up with her at the start in La Spezia and train delays getting back to La Spezia from any of the villages. Cinque Terre was one of the highlights of our Mediterranean cruise. The sights, history, people, food - all so very special!

Great Day in Cinque Terra! - We were a party of four, and the only ones to sign up for the tour on our date. This allowed us to have a highly personalized experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly! In slightly less than eight hours, she maximized what we were able to see and do. She even made a lunch reservation for us in Manarola. The food and view were outstanding. We are very grateful to Veronica. We would never have been able to accomplish as much as we did and have the benefit of the narrative history.

Private Tour to Cinque Terra - Our tour guide Veronica, met us at the train station in La Spezia, helped us to purchase our day passes, and then we started our trip, with the first stop being Manarola. She took us around all the important landmarks, explaining them, and have us free time and we met at the designated spot to catch the train to Vernazza where we went through the same process. Interesting how the two are both so the same and so different. Such beautiful views and the terraced vineyards were remarkable. Back on the train to Riomaggiore. Veronica booked us a table at a restaurant overlooking the sea. She took us to the restaurant and gave us an hour to eat. We met her back at the Piazza and started our tour, walking through the old fishing village. Our tour finished, we boarded the train back to La Spezia. The train is a lovely way to go to Cinque Terra, and so fast. We had a lovely day. Veronica was fantastic.

Great tour guide - She went out of her way to customize our trip for us. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She was delightful. And it took her a minute, but she laughed at all my jokes- which means she’s very smart.

Great small group experience. - Our guide was knowledgeable of the area. She knew her way around the ferry and train systems which made for relaxing experience. She knew the back alleys of the towns and left us plenty of free time to explore. Flexible itinerary. Great experience.

Beautiful but overcrowded! - It's a magnificent place, 5 small coastal towns to discover with the help of a train which stops in each one every 20 minutes, a word of advice, take the day pass for 19 euros which allows you to do it as much as you want want. Small downside, too many people on some of them, notably one... The city should limit the number of tourists because it was almost unbearable.

Cinque Terre tour by train - We were 15 minutes late because we couldn’t get a cab from the cruise terminal (no one could we were all stuck!) and she left without us. We found out later she was still at the train station at the same time we got there, but never reached out to us. Poor communications… it took us 2hrs to meet up with the tour. It was an exasperating day!
