- Via del Prione - Our tour starts with two typical dishes from La Spezia: Sgabei - small fried pancake made from bread dough; and Mesciua - chickpea, beans and wheat grains soup.
- Museo Etnografico Podenzana e Museo Diocesano - A must try if you are in La Spezia: Pasta with walnuts sauce and Testaroli or panigacci, a sort of pancake, boiled and enriched with pesto, oil, parmisan cheese and mushroms sauce (testaroli), alternatively baked, served with cheese and cured meat (panigacci)
- Piazza Mentana - Directly by local fishermen you will try Fried Calamari and Anchovies and after that the traditional farinata,a delicious chickpea pancake cooked in a wood oven.

Excellent Food Tour - Manuela was an excellent guide. Her insights into La Spezia, as a local, made our tour all the more interesting. We only had one other couple on the tour which made for a personalised tour and lots of opportunities to ask questions. Manuela is fluent in many languages and she conducted our tour in English. We really enjoyed our tour and the food was excellent.

A Tasty day experiencing the favorite foods of La Spenzia/Cinque Terre. - A great day tasting the local foods, learning how they are prepared and the history of their origin. Our guide Manuela was well prepared and as a teacher she also provided history, humor and personal information that was delightful. We walked the streets tasting the local foods at hidden spots that were delicious. The hot focaccia, la cencian toscana, pesto linguini, fresh fish “catch of the day” and gelato were delicious and an unexpected surprise was a trip to the local market! We highly recommend this tour and would repeat it.

Knowledgeable and nice Guide (Manuela) gave us good insight into the Ligurian cuisine. - Knowledgeable and positive Guide who gave us insight into Ligurian cuisine. Manuela was able to give us a historical explanation of traditional dishes in Liguria. We have travelled a lot before in Italy but it was still for us, new dishes on the food tour.

An excellent experience - I bought this tour as a gift for my fiance and I was not disappointed. Our tour guide was Manuela, a charming and friendly local. We hit 5 spots all within less than 10 mins of each other. The food was excellent and Manuela provided some history tidbits as well as insights into cooking techniques along the way. She even helped us with some tips to find quieter beaches in the area which was above and beyond.

Fantastic foods and great times - The focaccia and the Franatta were amazing… it was also great to be a small group for more intimate setting. Beatrice was a great guide and knowledgable of the area and history. Would recommend 10/10!

Great food and wonderful Tour guide makes for a wonderful afternoon experience. - An easy 5 star review for me. First, the tour was led by the wonderful Beatrice who kept the tour moving at a nice, gentle pace so we could enjoy each of 5 stops/food tasted along with her stories on local cuisine and history. The food at all places was plentiful and delicious. And this coming from a couple with access to all great good we can eat on the Sun Princess cruise.

Don’t miss out on this! - This tour was the perfect way to wind down our time in La Spezia. Our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable on the cuisine and local restaurants we visited. We walked around the town to local dining spots we had not yet visited during our stay. All of the food was delicious and the portions were generous. I highly recommend adding this tour to anyone visiting this lovely town.
