• Isla Conchaguita - From La Unión, the journey leads to a remarkable experience: the thermal waters of the gulf, showcasing nature’s power and vitality. The next stop is the delightful Conchagüita Island, a peaceful retreat surrounded by stunning landscapes. Visitors have about an hour to explore its charming streets, meet fishermen on their traditional boats, and soak in the tranquility of this hidden paradise.
• Meanguera del Golfo - The adventure continues to El Majahual Beach, a true treasure on Meanguera Island. With its coffee-colored sand and serene waters, this beach is ideal for a refreshing swim in the gulf. During the one-hour visit, guests can enjoy a delicious fresh ceviche, made with the region’s authentic flavors, while relishing the sea breeze and the natural beauty of this oasis.
• Meanguera del Golfo - Departing from El Majahual Beach, the journey sails along the enchanting Meanguerita Island, a small paradise with lush vegetation and pristine beaches. The next destination is the quaint village of Meanguera, where time seems to pause. Here, visitors can stroll along the beach, admire traditional fishing boats, and wander through its streets. Interacting with the locals offers a unique experience, as every conversation reflects a life deeply connected to the sea and nature.
• Isla Zacatillo - The journey leads to one of the Gulf of Fonseca’s best-kept secrets: the stunning El Carey Beach on Zacatillo Island. Before arriving, there is a fascinating tour sailing near Martín Pérez Island and Ilca Island, also known as the Island of Birds, where a spectacular variety of nesting birds can be observed. A natural wonder truly worth witnessing!

Upon reaching El Carey Beach, there is approximately an hour and a half to enjoy this pristine spot. Visitors can dive into its calm waters, capture photographs of the beautiful scenery, or simply relax under the sun, marveling at the splendor of the Gulf of Fonseca. A true paradise for the senses.

• Playa Playona - After visiting El Carey Beach, the journey continues to the popular Playa Playona, one of the most frequented beaches by locals, also on Zacatillo Island. Here, a delicious local lunch by the sea awaits, offering fresh and authentic flavors that embody the essence of the Gulf. After the meal, there is free time to relax, whether by taking a refreshing dip in the waters, strolling along the beach, or simply sunbathing while enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings. A perfect place to unwind and savor the local atmosphere.
• La Union - Before returning to La Unión and concluding the journey through the Gulf of Fonseca, the route sails close to the intriguing Isla Conejo. This small island, though modest in size, has a fascinating history of territorial disputes between El Salvador and Honduras. Ultimately, it became part of Salvadoran territory, a testament to the rich historical and political backdrop of this gulf.
