Great night tour - Paulo is a specialist in the field of amphibians and reptiles. His father has planted many trees on about 20 hectares of land for the different animal species that can now be seen there. Pools for the amphibians, all kinds of frogs (40 ) and salamanders. We immediately saw a sloth and many tree frogs. Big spiders and crickets. Paulo sees birds sleeping on a twig between the branches. A beautiful coral snake along the path!
Paulo is a fantastic guide who knows a lot about the animals and plants in this beautiful area.

Great night in La Virgen. - Our guide Paulo was miraculously able to show so many animals in the night. And taught us a lot about the variety of wildlife and the behaviour of animals.

Frogs, birds, sloths and even a snake seen on our night tour with Pablo. - Pablo is a very good guide, nice and knows how to spot many animals, he also tells a lot about the plants and history, definitely recommended. The fact that we were also allowed in his treehouse at the end completed it.

Excellent night tour with Pablo - We had a great tour with Pablo, who knows the animals and nature well. We have seen a lot of animals thanks to him & he has given us a lot of information about it. It was an incredible experience and we felt very comfortable with him.
Unfortunately, we arrived a little late because the address provided is not correct. Pablo then contacted via Whatsapp and sent the correct location.
We can highly recommend the tour as well as Pablo & would do it again immediately. Our expectations were totally exceeded.

Excellent adventure. - This was amazing!! The guide was educated and passionate. He showed us lots of nature and animals. He also explained all the various ecosystems. The area was beautiful and teaming with life.
I recommend this to anyone who is going to Costa Rica and visiting this area. It provides an experience you will always remember and walk away with some knowledge about the beautiful location.

Great night walk with Pablo - We had a great night walk with Pablo. We each got a flashlight and started looking for frogs, insects, birds and other animals. The walk is on private property and Pablo has given a lot of explanation about the animals and plants we have seen. There was plenty of time to take photos and admire the animals. Although it rained for most of the walk (which the frogs like 😉), it lasted 3 hours and we saw a lot. You can even email him the photos if you don't know which animal is in the photos.

Great adventures night tour, to learn more about the nught animals - It was a great experience. We booked the tour believing we were part of a group but no, we had a prived tour.
Our tour guide was quite new but he proved him self worthy. He is very friendly and professional. But most of all skilled and funny.
We had a very interesting tour and saw all the animals we would like to see.
Do not hesitate to book this tour. It is great.

Typical nite hike. - Saw lots of frogs some birds sleeping and a snake.
walked in the rain but trails are gravel covered so no slippery.

Poor, no communication from local guide. - I, unsuccessfully tried to reply to this message the night of the event. There was a steady downpour in the hours before the scheduled departure. Approximately one hour prior to departure I texted the local guide, inquiring about the likelihood of the event continuing. I repeated that appeal about 30 minutes later; followed shortly by a phone call - leaving a voice message. Particularly given that no one answered the phone at the site where we were meeting, I made the assumption that no one was there and the event was cancelled. I never received any response from my messages.
