• The meeting point for this tour is the Sarapiqui Outdoor Center in La Virgen de Sarapiqui. After checking in, you will take a short van ride to the town of San Miguel de Sarapiqui, where the Class 3/4 section begins.

• Your adventure begins at the Sarapiqui Outdoor Center in La Virgen de Sarapiqui, where, after registration, you’ll be transported by van to the town of San Miguel de Sarapiqui to commence the class 3/4 rapids.

• Once you get to the Sarapiquí River, your experienced and certified rafting guide will give you thorough safety instructions, get you set up with top-quality adventure gear such as your helmet, personal flotation device, and paddle and then you’re off

• Upon arrival at the Sarapiquí River, your skilled and accredited rafting guide will provide comprehensive safety briefings, equip you with premium adventure gear like a helmet, life jacket, and paddle, and then the excitement begins

Make your way through exciting rapids like “Morning Coffee,” “The Terminator,” and “Dos Locos.” Peer up at the canyon walls dripping with waterfalls and take in the majestic views of the mountains and volcanoes in the distance. 

Our highly qualified Instructors will make you feel comfortable and safe while rafting. Plus, they will point out a variety of birds, wildlife, trees, and other flora and fauna along the way. 

This activity is perfect for intermediate rafters, or those who are physically fit and are willing to paddle and work as a team. The minimum age to participate is 14 years and must be comfortable in white water, in good physical condition, and be able to paddle.
