Your guide will take you on a walking tour of this tiny village and will explain about the history of the Cotswolds and the village. At the end of the tour there will be a stop to enjoy a culinary experience which all visitors to England should try - the traditional English Cream Tea! (Scones with cream & jam and a pot of tea).

An afternoon delight - The tour was a delight. Daniel drove us along the narrow backroads of the Cotswolds and surrounding area, taking us to Lacock, Castle Combe, and a quaint little B&B for tea, before dropping us off. The rides and tours of the towns were made thoroughly enjoyable through his wit and knowledge of the area. The length of the tour was perfect, nestled between lunch and dinner, yet long enough to get a good sense of the area. The cream tea at the end was the best we had on the trip.

Great day trips from Bath - We’ve done many private tours throughout Europe. This was among the best. Daniel was knowledgeable and considerate. He made some major adjustments to accommodate us and our interests. We will recommend him to all our friends who travel.

The perfect Cotswolds afternoon - The best afternoon of our trip to England.
Daniel was the perfect guide. Took the time to find out about our interests and catered the trip to be exactly what we were looking for. The perfect story teller, my teens were completely engaged the entire time, from stories about the locations we were visiting to the people who lived there, not to mention the Harry Potter filming lore (loved that Daniel
had an iPad with footage of the films to accompany what we were seeing). So many interesting bits of information along the way (from the history of the area to seeing Salisbury Hill whilst listening to Peter Gabriel sing about it). The cream tea at Fosse Farmhouse was the best I’ve had and the stories of Caron’s adventures were a perfect way to end the afternoon.
All in all, worth every penny and then some. Would absolutely recommend to anyone else coming to Bath!

A great taste of the Cotswalds! - Our tour guide, Daniel, made this tour the 5 star experience. He was knowledgeable, funny, great with our kids 7, 9 and 10. They had a great time and will remember lots about this tour, thanks to Daniel’s amazing story telling. The adults will remember lots as he made our tour an enjoyable and educational experience, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. We loved both towns and the cream tea was a joy to sit down to! A great day out! Thanks again to Daniel, our wonderful tour guide.

Excellent tour - Dan provided interesting insights and good information. The tour flowed well. We did not feel rushed, and Dan was flexible in taking time to answer questions. The Tea was great fun, and tasty, too! Very well done.

One of the best tours ever! - We took a tour with Dan and it was wonderful! He's very knowledgeable, friendly and witty. We learned so much - everything from British history to how to locate fire hydrants. The towns were beautiful as well.
We were a little apprehensive about the tea visit since my husband doesn't care for tea and I've never thought dry, cold scones were worth eating.
Were we ever wrong! The visit with Karen (Fosse Farmhouse BnB) was something we couldn't have expected. What a charming woman. And her homemade jam and scones were soft, moist and obviously very fresh.
Would definitely recommend!

Great Tour, Even Better Guide!! - My wife and I enjoyed our tour to the Cotswolds, specifically Lacock and Castle Combe with our guide Daniel. The drive through the English countryside to visit each of the villages was exactly what we had hoped for in our adventure. The quaint villages were peaceful and quiet without too many people. The buildings were picturesque as were the cobblestone pathways and churches.
Daniel was a fantastic host on our tour and is really what made the time spent on our adventure as great as it was. He was punctual on our pickup, delightful in conversation, and witty to share a story. The pace was perfect to share a small story between stops, loads of information on each of the locations and in between. Thank you Daniel for our wonderful adventure!
