This tour was a perfect... - This tour was a perfect day tour for exploring Bangkok! Giftsie and Mr. Sunshine were a great guide and driver for our tour. They were flexible in accommodating our cruise arrival and picked us up from the cruise port. Giftsie was very friendly and was knowledgeable about each destination we visited. She also adjusted the tour so we could avoid the crowds at the different stops. Mr.Sunshine was a great driver and ensured we got back to the cruise port in time. I'd recommend this tour for anyone visiting Bangkok, especially for those traveling via a cruise.

An amazing private tour. Picked up from Laem Chabang port in Bangkok and dropped in a hotel. - We arrived with Holland America Noordam crouse. I cannot be more happier with the tour we had with Monica. They picked us from Laem Chabang port. We visited so many places and had a great lunch in a unique café. Boat ride was fun. Driver was very professional. We were dropped off to our hotel. I strongly recommend to book this tour.

Customer Focused - We booked a tour with Shore Excursions Asia.
The tour organiser (Sammy) ensured that our request for the various activities were accommodated.
During the tour we asked if our activity schedule could be revised slightly, due to weather conditions. The tour guide re-arranged everything for us.

great tour, and great guide !!! - I am extremely satisfied with this tour. If I could give them more stars, I would. I was skeptical to make this reservation because the webpage mentioned a 7 AM pick up and our cruise docked in Leam Chabang at 9 AM. They are very flexible and adapt to your needs. I communicated with them by this site, and later by whatsapp. My husband and I had a great day!!! It was our tour guide (fluent in English), plus a driver... just the four of us. Nina went far and beyond her job, providing all the information about the city, and the temples, plus the culture and customs of the people of Thailand. She was our personal photographer for the day. We went to 5 temples, the Grand Palace, a river cruise (not crazy about that one). We went through Chinatown. She took us to a place to buy souvenirs. We did more than the cruise ship tours offers, at less price. It was a full day, from 9 AM to 8 PM (our ship docked overnight). We went to Pattaya the next day, which was another great experience.

Fabulous day visit to Bangkok from Leam Chabang port - Fabulous tour. Our guide, Giftsy, was very informative, funny, engaging, and took us to visit incredible places. Giftsy listened to ur needs and planned accordingly. She was excellent at communicating with us prior our arrival to port so we felt confident not only that she would be there but how to meet.

Bangkok highlights, tailor made and very enjoyable , personal experience with private transport and no queues . - Our guide Luke was there to meet on arrival and we had a wonderful day exploring all the main places we wanted to see.
He was very engaging and informative. We enjoyed this tour very much as he took us to an authentic Thai restaurant for lunch at our request and also organised the timing so that we didn’t get caught up in large queues for the river boats.
We had cold towels, water and delivered us back to our boat in good time .

Learn From My Mistake - Rip-Off Tour - Pros: Nice, knowledgeable tour guide and hardworking, really good driver. Nice van. That’s all I can say about this trip on the positive side.
Cons: Waaaaay overpriced! We dropped $1,087 through Trip Advisor (not including tips) for something we could have gotten for $180 as soon as we entered the port. There was a van service with guide available as soon as we entered the Port Entry building (the guys all wearing purple shirts) charging $180 for almost the same thing. Yes, we would have had to buy our own entry tickets and lunch but that would have been no more than $200 in total for 6 people. By the way, the lunch was pretty bad, and it was served at a waterfront location where the longboats were constantly revving their engines and blowing thick black exhaust into the eating area.
The sad thing is that I’m betting the driver probably only got paid about $30 for his very long day’s work and the tour guide maybe got $40 to $50. What a rip-off! That’s just a guess, but those 2 guys are the only reason I’m giving this 2 stars - to recognize their efforts.
I would strongly advise avoiding this tour unless you want to throw away about $700 unnecessarily. And yes, of course we saw beautiful temples…but we could’ve done that anyway for a lot less. Trust my description, or you’ll be throwing away a lot of money. By the way, we used the Purple-Shirt guys the next day to go into Pattaya, and it was an excellent experience.
Last tip - be careful about going to Bangkok if your cruise leaves on the same day as your tour. It’s a 2 hour drive one way without traffic, and Bangkok is probably as bad as NYC in terms of traffic congestion.
