Turtle trip - Lovely day out. I only saw the one turtle, but it was still an amazing experience. A good way to spend a few hours in the sunshine

Just beautiful - The 25 euros is definitely worth it. Breathtaking scenery, swimming in translucent water and the joy of seeing a turtle at the small port of laganas. Just perfect.

A must-do Zakynthos experience! - We thoroughly enjoyed this boat trip experience and added bonus- we seen a turtle! It actually swam right underneath our glass bottom boat! 😁 We would definitely recommend this trip and operator. The Captain of the boat was very professional and informed us where would be going and for how long.

Great. - The scenery is beautiful, we were not much which adds charm to the excursion. For the Award it's definitely worth it. Nevertheless when there is a turtle we find ourselves 5-6 boats around looking at it.

Not certain why this excursion is so popular - Guide was really good but the boat ride is a long one because the areas we visited were not super interesting. Keri caves- a few caves along the ocean with blue water, turtle beach: an overcrowded beach with swimming and mediocre snorkelling and sitting on the boat for way too long waiting for a turtle to pop up from the ocean. In my view, this excursion is not really worth it.

Poor trip - Tour was originally supposed to leave at 9 am, we checked out of our hotel early, did not have time to wait for the hotel breakfast only to figure out after no one was at the meeting point, that the tour had moved to noon. Turtle spotting was one turtle surrounded by 4 boats , it seemed cruel. The caves were pretty but the turtle island stop was a rocky shore filled with people and other boats, it was tacky and not scenic. We had just done a fantastic tour to shipwreck beach the day before. Skip this trip- and anything else on this side of town, they are all selling the same kind of tour. It is simply not worth the time or money

Scam! Poorly executed. No information - Take your own taxiboat for 10 euros instead of 3 in 1 which they sell for 20-35 euros. We bought 3in1 to go on turtlespotting, turtle island and keri caves. We had to sit and wait for over 3 hours on turtle island, no information was available how or when we could get to keri caves. The staff on the island were rude, casual and pretended they didn't speak English mid-conversation. The island was overcrowded with people, but no one gave out any information whatsoever. There is also no toilet on the island.

Disappointing . - There are many different companies offering the same or similar excursions. My opinion is not a reflection on any one particular operator. Personally, I did not enjoy this trip. Our trip started from Laganas marina. Firstly, when the trip says, 'see the turtles in their natural environment', that is in effect the very busy Laganas harbour. You literally go out 20 metres from the mooring. The nature of these poor creatures are that they are hard wired to return to the beach where they hatched even though that beach has been turned into a tourist resort in the meantime. They have to surface every 45 minutes or so to breath and when they do, for literally a few seconds, they are surrounded by a flotilla of boats and tourists sounding horns, revving their motors and quite honestly harassing them. I felt very uncomfortable and in all honesty wished I hadn't experienced it. The next stop was 'Marathonissi island', a short trip across the water. The beach looks fantastic on photos but if you look carefully you will see that as the island is in fact a reserve you can only use the outer edge of the beach. In effect about 10 feet. I did not go in the high season but even so, the beach was so crowded and cramped that you could hardly set foot on it without stepping on someone. Everyone lined up like sardines around the edge virtually touching each other. If it wasn't for the fact that the boat then leaves to go and get another load of passengers, I would have stayed on board. Also, the setting down / picking up of tourists is chaotic. There is no specific areas for bathers and boats. People swimming in the sea where large vessels are coming in and out, tripping over mooring ropes etc , in the hour I was there, I witnessed several 'near misses' where boats hadn't noticed people in the sea. I was glad to leave. The 'blue caves' are nice to see but if you are not a good swimmer that is all you can do, look at them them. I have been to Greece many times and love the country but this was the first time I have ever felt that I was on a conveyor belt of over tourism. I wouldn't go again and would urge others to think again before doing so.

Not worth it! - Tourist trap! DO NOT do this. If you are going for sea turtles, you will only see one and it hangs out at the boat dock over to the right of the beach. Just drive or walk over there to see him. You do not get to swim in any of the caves or cool spots. We stopped at one place that was really pretty and got 20 minutes to swim. By the time you do one lap, it’s back on the boat. After that you are taken to a crappy beach that is packed with people and boats where everyone is dumped to swim for an hour and a half. Everyone was back on the boat in 30 mins ready to leave. I hope you read this and don’t waste your money…

Shame - Reservation was cancelled twice in a row, so we lost a day on other Things to do. In the end to do nothing as the description indicated!
