Great boat trip and turtle spotting - We had a great time on our boat trip. Small group of people (around 20) which was nice. We got to see the gorgeous Keri Caves, swim in crystal clear turquoise waters and also spotted turtles both at the beginning and the end of our journey. Great family trip!

Fun times for the whole family - If you’re going with the hopes of having a moment on an untouched beach that’s silent and has no tourists, you’re not going to find it in Laganas with a tourist glass boat tour. That said, this was a great experience we saw a turtle, and while the boats did circle it, it was lounging on the sea floor and did not seem bothered at all by the boats waiting for a look. The first swim stop was beautiful but if you have kids, make sure to bring floaties if they aren’t strong swimmers since the water is 3 meters deep. The second swim spot is a bit more crowded but there was plenty of space for the kids to swim and us to set out towels and there were snack boats! All in all it was a very fun trip. But remember; this is a tourist area, August is peak season, turtles are wild animals so quiet, turtles and untouched beaches are not a guarantee.

Good times! - Took a tour with my husband and sons, we all had a good time. We did spot a turtle on the way out, and the boats do circle them but since the turtle was lying on the sea floor, it looked relaxed and completely unbothered by the boats lining up to drive above it. The first swimming spot is very deep and there were no floaties/ vests on the boat so if you have young children and want to swim at the first spot you’ll need to bring your own. The second spot is crowded because it’s a small beach but there was plenty of room to swim and lay out a towel, there were also snack boats so you could get food or ice cream. When you book something like this it’s important to remember that other tourists also book these things, you cannot expect to go to untouched beaches and quiet spots. For our family, it was worth it and we had a good time!

A chance to swim in turquoise waters - Overall, a brilliant experience. We all loved swimming in the beautiful clean waters around the island. The first swim stop was incredible and we would have preferred to have had longer here than the second stop which was at a busy beach with drinks boats. The other thing worth saying is that we only saw one turtle on the way out. I was glad for this though as it made me and my children really uncomfortable to have 6-7 boats all crowding round it, sort of hemming it in. I hadn't thought about this before we went and if I had, I would have maybe just booked a boat tour with the caves and swimming.

The last beach stop was a FAIL. Rest was OK - The last stop, I think the island of Marathonissi was a tourist trap .. full of boats .. no place to swim and because you are for 1 hour in the sun they will sell you water and ice cream from kiosk boats. But rest of the tour was quite nice. We saw the turtles and the kids enjoyed it.

Not the best - It was okay. 1 turtle viewing with 10 other boats trying to find the same turtle was not what i imagined. The caves and swimming was nice. The beach where we stayed an hour was small, packed and all the boats are right in front of the beach. So no view except boats.. i also expected some more from the tourguide. He did not tell anything about the turtle, turtle island or keri caves.

Disappointed, it is not a turtle spotting tour. Nasty and reckless captain driving - If you are interested in seeing sea turtles, this is not the tour for you. Go to the port of Agios Sostis and lokk for a fisherman who is on a boat feeding the turtles. You will see them better and you won't feel bad. We booked this tour with the idea of visiting the park and seeing the sea turtles in their habitat and we ended up very disappointed. It is not a tour to see turtles and enjoy the park in peace. It is not a guided tour either, the captain of the boat was a very rude person who only said four words to give us orders and who turned a deaf ear when I asked him a question. To get on the boat you have to get wet up to about your waist, something to keep in mind beforehand. We saw a single turtle in the port of Agios Sostis cornered by a dozen boats which made us feel terrible. The stop was short and there was hardly any time to take photos, which was somewhat reassuring because the turtle was being harassed by the boats. From there, he picked up speed and drove the boat recklessly, overtaking the other boats, honking at them and passing close to people snorkelling. We were very scared on the boat, the boat was rolling around when it overtook a yacht at full speed. All this hurry was to stop for more than an hour at Marathonisi beach, which you can easily reach if you want by taxi boat for about €10 return. On the way back, the captain was worried about flirting with a Romanian woman who was on the boat, with whom he shared cigarettes and let her play Romanian music at full volume. We came back angry and disappointed, but we were thankful that we had arrived safe and sound because we really feared for our physical safety.
