Through this journey, you’ll witness volcanic black sandy beaches in the island’s southern part before heading to a rare traditional pottery studio of the region.
Following that, we’ll ascend to one of the towering peaks - Pico da Barrosa - which offers a panoramic view of both island coasts, and then you’ll get to observe a magnificent landmark of the Azores - the Lagoa do Fogo.
As we proceed, you will also get to witness a naturally enchanting fall - Salto do Cabrito, and later on we head towards ‘Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande’, where you can experience the volcanic activity in the region first-hand and also immerse in hot springs that are warmed directly by the Lagoa do Fogo volcano.
