The adventure begins at Marina de Lagos. Typically, we start our dolphin search a few miles south of Lagos, off the coast. Once we spot dolphins, we spend up to 30 minutes observing them, as permitted by authorities. Afterward, we head east towards the coast of Benagil and Carvoeiro. Upon arrival, we’ll explore the area’s caves, including the famous Algar de Benagil. We’ll get as close as sea conditions and regulations allow, which means only a few minutes inside. During this time, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take photos. The coastline features several other caves and bays that rival the beauty of the Algar de Benagil.
