Go Hungry! - This was our first food tour for our group of four and were a little apprehensive about our booking. As it turned out, this was our favorite excursion! Sophia was the best guide, and her restaurant choices were all amazing. We started at the fish/produce market and did a tasting of olive oils. honey, figs, and more. This tour was filled with history and food. Coming from a skeptic of food tours, I would highly recommend this tour and hopefully you are lucky enough to get the lovely Sophia!

The most unique (in a great way) food experience we’ve ever had - An Unforgettable Food Tour Experience in Lagos, Portugal! We recently had the incredible opportunity to join a food tour in Lagos, Portugal, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences of our trip! Our tour guide was exceptional—full of knowledge, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for the local culture, which made the entire journey feel special from start to finish. From the moment we began, it was clear that this wasn’t just a tour about food, but a deep dive into the heart of Lagos and its culinary heritage. Each stop felt thoughtfully chosen, offering us the chance to sample a variety of authentic local dishes that we would have never discovered on our own. The guide’s passion for the local cuisine shone through as they shared fascinating stories, highlighting the cultural significance of each dish and ingredient.

Good for foodies - We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Sophia. The selection of restaurants and tastings was perfect and plentiful; all authentic local cuisine. Having done food tour in multiple cities, I would say that this one focused mostly on the food with not much time exploring the area. If you want to really explore Lagos and learn more about the history and culture, you might want to choose another tour, or a walking tour in addition to this one.

Great food, great tour, lovely evening spent in Lagos - My husband and I really enjoyed our food tour in Lagos. We love all food and particularly want to experience local cuisine, and this tour didn't disappoint. We visited spots that we never would have found ourselves, and our tour guide was lovely and knowledgeable and you could tell really loved her country's food and culture. The fish soup we started with was so good, I would go back for that alone. Another favourite of ours was the razor clams. You are offered a drink at each stop, so we certainly took advantage of enjoying the local wine. You also get to walk around a good portion of Lagos, so good way to view the town as well. Would definitely recommend this your for a lovely evening spent in Lagos.

Highly recommend this tour - Wonderful way to experience the local Portuguese cuisine and learn some local history. Our tour guide Sophia was amazing and lots of fun. She took us to four unique restaurants where we were able to try authentic Portuguese dishes that we may not have tried if we were on our own. Everything was delicious! We revisited one of the restaurants for a full meal, we were not disappointed. Highly recommend planning this tour at the start of your trip so you can revisit your favorite spot. Thank you, Sophia, for a wonderful evening, interesting conversation, and great company!

Seafood tour in Lagos - Our guide Sophia was so lovely. Very knowledgeable and gave us tips on places for eats. I believe in the review it said there were four stops. We visited three. Also I wouldn't recommend this tour for people who don't like seafood as all stops had seafood and no other options. Luckily for our party this wasn't a problem.
