Fantastic tour with a true local - Great tour with a true local who grew up in the area. Gavin was very knowledgable about the local terrain and the history of Lagos and the surrounding area. Highly recommend going on this tour!

A great day out with a friendly, local guide - A really fantastic day! The beach and location was amazing and the lunch and beers were delicious! Gavin was very knowledge, friendly and attentive. If you're looking to support a small, local business and get a more personalised experience I would recommend to anyone visiting Lagos.

Much more and better than expected! - Way better than described! Absolutely amazing tour and best service! Timing and spot for waves and sun was perfect. We had enough time to enjoy nature, views and fun in the water!

Poor experience with this provider - Tour was scheduled for 5/29/2024 at 3 p.m. I went solo. Gavin did not show up at the meeting place for the tour. I sent multiple messages and he finally responded. His response was as follows: "Hello for some reason the booking wasn't showing up on my app, so I need to cancel." That was it. No apology. Just stated that he needed to cancel. This was after I spent about an hour getting to the meetup location, on time. I responded that I was not happy under the circumstances, and that I would be leaving an appropriate review. At that point he finally apologized, but again, blamed it on Viator, saying that the app had been "glitchy recently." My strong suspicion is that Viator indeed sent him a notification when I initially booked, just as it always does (automatically, I am sure), and that he simply did not check for for such notifications until after I sent a message inquiring about where he was. I noticed that he only has 2 reviews of this tour on TripAdvisor. My recommendation is that you look elsewhere, and go with a more organized, experienced provider that has numerous positive reviews. Otherwise, it can be a guessing game, and you could end up in a situation like mine.
