Additional Information
Kayaking takes the lead as the most engaged activity in Portugal’s Algarve region, which is rich in beaches. This tour, lasting 2.5 hours, involves paddling through a part of the Atlantic Ocean, discovering old caves and grottoes, and enjoying the picturesque charm of the coastal line. You have the option to opt for either a morning or afternoon slot when you make your booking.
- All participants must have basic swimming skills
- Children must be accompanied by an adult in the same kayak
- May be operated by a multilingual guide
- Not available for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions
- Refunds will not be issued if tour/activity is missed due to late or non-arrival; please check in at least 15 minutes before departure time
- Total weight per double kayak should not exceed 440 lbs (200 kg)

Put your back into it - I went on this experience with my sister and it was so much fun! The caves and beaches we passed were so cool so kayak through. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and was there to help if anything went astray such as capsizing. We even became friends with our fellow kayakers and would absolutely do this tour again if we come back.

Amazing experience! - This was a great experience, worth every cent! Our guide Ricky was such a nice guy and our group was super fun as well! We had a wonderful time and we recommend it for everyone who enjoys appreciating idyllic and natural beauty while being active. The only negative aspect (which is not a responsibility of kayak tours) is the tour boats in the surroundings, passing by quite fast and trying to get priority to go into the caves. Even though it was amazing!

Magical experience - Magical experience! Our guide Pedro was absolutely amazing, he explained all the sites to us, was very friendly and safe conscious. Pedro also gave us tips about places to eat and things to do in Lagos, all of which we did and loved. There is also a support boat in case anyone needs to leave the tour, which was nice to have, the company gave us lockers, and the kayaks were in good shape.
This was a once in a lifetime experience for sure, highly recommend!

Awesome experience - Took the kayak trip at 9.00 and was an awesome experience. Our guide, Pedro, took us to all the beautiful spots (caves, beaches and different sightseeing). After ~2h Bruno strapped the kayaks to the speed boat and brought us back at the starting point (accompanied by on request music). Weather, views, and guided tour was amazing.

Pleasant and professional guide! - Had a very nice tour, together with Pedro and Bruno. Visited several caves with a nice story and information. Ended with a nice dance performance by Pedro on the way back. Highly recommended if you want to see the caves up close and inside.

Great experience! - The customer service from Tiago and our guide Pedro was exceptional.
Very good experience, 2h30 of kayaking and despite the cloudy weather we had a very nice outing, we even had the chance to see dolphins, less than 10 meters away!! I highly recommend !

Kayak if you are capable vs boat - Awesome guide Pedro made the experience. All staff pleasant & helpful.
9:00 AM excursion actually starts at 9:30; 9 AM published on ticket includes the 30 minutes before cited in excursion details. Be sure to note this is Kayak ADVENTURES because there are several similar in same spot.
Great place for organic coffee & legit chai tea in shop above across street.

Fun but quite hard work - We had kayaked previously from Carveiro to Benagil caves. I don’t know whether it was just a one off (it did feel quite windy as a day), but this was much harder work as the sea was rougher, so it’s probably better suited to slightly younger (and fitter) people. The trip was well organised and supervised and the organisers made the very sensible decision to tow the kayaks back to Lagos rather than make people try to kayak into the wind
