Exceeded expectations - We had a fantastic experience with John on our tour. He was fun and knowledgeable. He shared his extensive knowledge of local history and love of the area.
The sights were phenomenal and he included a few surprises along the way.
If you’re lucky to get him, ask about Little Garfield.

A perfect sunset tour - Absolutely wonderful tour. Our driver was full of chit chat, personality and wit. His knowledge was perfect... a bit of adrenaline along the way once we were off road and all in all I couldn't recommend enough! Do it!

Great Adventure - Spectacular Views - We truly loved this adventure. To start, it's great because it offers pick up and drop off at your hotel. Talk about service! In addition, we were able to change our day to accommodate for other cancelled tours. It was easily done via the Viator app. Mostly, Tiago, our tour guide was engaging, friendly, and professional. He took us to various stops on our way to the final destination to ensure that we did not spend so much time on the road, but also to manage the time for us to experience a breathtaking sunset. The off road part of the excursion is not very long, but it packs a punch. We loved the intimacy of the places we visited. The views were spectacular. Be prepared to share the jeep with up to four other people. When we arrived at the last stop, Tiago gave us red wine and Madeline cookies. Finally, make sure you layer up so you can be cozy and comfortable in any weather.

Incredible outing, absolutely worth it! - Last minute booking because my boat tour was cancelled and it was totally worth it! Incredible views, cool beach, amazing sunset. The guide John was informative and funny. Since I booked last minute I didn’t really read up on what was included so everything we saw and did was a surprise. It was one cool experience after another! I am so happy that I booked it!

A Must DO!! - Such a fun tour and a great way to see parts of the coast that the average tourist will not see!! It was a fun group and the secret sunset was perfect!!

Unforgettable experience! - We went on this Vacation Package with Mom. It was stunning! Visited several places with stunning ocean and coastal views, including the São Vicente Lighthouse. And the tour ended with a sunset encounter in a secret location - also with crazy ocean views. Guide bought wine and pastel de nata :) highly recommend, the experience is unforgettable! Just bring something to put on, because the wind on the coast is very strong :)

Couldn’t rate high enough!!! - The entire trip was just amazing, had a fantastic tour guide (I believe his name was John I’m awful with names 😂😅) very knowledgeable and friendly couldn’t rate him high enough! The sunset itself was stunning and just thoroughly enjoyable!

Great tour if you like taking pics, and going off the beaten track! - I went with my father on this tour. We were a group of 6, plus the guide/driver.
We enjoyed the stops, especially the beach of Ponta Ruiva, Sagres, and at the Natural Parque. We managed to take great photos.
Our guide was very knowledgeable, and had a lot of stories to tell us about the places we visited.

More of a transportation service than a tour - We took the half-day (5.5 hour altogether) morning tour on Oct 10. What we enjoyed was getting to see the countryside without having to do the driving ourself. We've been on a lot of guided tours lately, and what we felt this one lacked was a presentation of key facts or stories to help us understand what we were seeing. The information we did receive seemed largely off-the-cuff, so we didn't feel like we learned a whole lot. Most information was given while driving and with the road noise, it wasn't easy to hear what exactly was said. From the description, I imagined we'd visit some villages and maybe hear about their significance, but although we drove through Sagres, I can't really say I know much about it. Other villages' names may have been mentioned as they were pointed out, but again, no details I can recall. As almost every stop was accessible by passenger vehicle, I would probably choose to do this circuit on my own next time.
