Explore Lagos

Paved pathways, tiles, ‘arrepiados’, walls, city art, a caravel, baroque, beach, a fortress…

Let our fictitious pal Isabela, the local young girl from Lacobrigo guide us through her city. Currently, we’re in the Roman quarter, amidst its bustling residents preparing the ‘garum’, to be distributed across the Mediterranean. Witness Isabela mystified by the arrival of the initial slaves, the same girl mesmerized by the glittering gold of the baroque altarpieces in the Church of Saint Anthony.

There stands Isabela, curious and patient, observing the caravels setting sail for enigmatic territories waiting to be discovered… Now stroll through the stone-paved lanes, amidst white houses, willow baskets, cork arts and crafts. A local is busy hydrating the greenery in his chilled interior courtyard. The aroma of sardines, fish leisurely cooked with the expertise passed down from generations of fishermen.

Don’t hesitate and follow the young girl with the crimson hat, she has a city to reveal.
