Best DesertSafari In Dubai - The Desert Safari in Dubai with SunCity Tours was incredible! We hopped into a comfy 4x4 and zoomed through the sandy dunes with an amazing driver. The sunset view was breathtaking! At the desert camp, there were so many fun things to do like camel riding and getting henna tattoos. The barbecue dinner was delicious, and the entertainment, like belly dancing, was top-notch. SunCity Tours made sure everything ran smoothly, and it was a memorable experience I'll never forget! Highly recommend it!

Great way to spend the evening - Pick up was all fine and arrived at the camp which looked great and we even found dog that my partner loved and spent most of the time cuddling. Went on a short camel ride before going in the 4x4, our driver got stuck a few times and we had to get pulled out. Food and the show was outstanding with the fire show. Then dropped home after a wonderful evening.

Rollercoaster of a Ride…5Stars - Definitely one of the best tours we’ve done where you had a bit of everything from the 4x4 which was more like rollercoaster of a ride than what we expected quality service from pick up to food to knowledge of area anything a casual tourist would seek

A Magical Evening in the Desert - Sand surfing in a 4x4 was both exhilarating and terrifying but mostly exhilarating. Our guide and driver, Yousaf Hussain, was extremely skilled and had our complete confidence. Beyond that, he was courteous and caring, extremely knowledgeable and very, very helpful. He made sure that we had the best seats for the dinner and show (although there wasn’t a bad seat in the house), explained how the evening would unfold and made sure we were comfortable. At the end of the evening, when he learned we only had limited time in Dubai, he insisted on taking us to see the light and water show at the Dubai Mall and then made sure we saw all the important features of the mall. The drive back to our hotel was circuitous so that we could see the old and new palaces and the magnificent mosque all lit up. It was a very magical evening made so by our wonderful guide, Yousaf. When I think of Dubai I will always remember this very special night. Two thumbs up for the tour and for Yousaf.

A nightmare from the beginning.. - Yeah avoid this tour and this company!! This isn't a tour by any means the driver hardly said 2 words to us. I should've known this would be a nightmare from the beginning given I couldn't even get anyone to respond back to inquiries online for weeks. Finally someone emailed me back and said we were confirmed. Day of they tell me 230-3pm so we made plans to be back to our hotel for pickup at 230. Then at 230 we get a text saying it'll be 315. Big difference there! But okay fine things happen. Got picked up in a highlander where the back seat wasn't even connected right. Then add that the driver was watching YouTube videos while driving us out there! Then we get dropped at this station where people are riding four wheelers in a fenced pasture where we just stood and watched for 40 minutes since this wasn't included in our tour where we were constantly hounded to buy things. The Dune bashing was fine. Then we went to the camp where our driver basically just said go in and eat. So we stood in line for the "camel tour" that others were doing for which we were told we needed to pay if we wanted anything more than to sit on the camel where we weren't allowed photos. Why is this even included in the description as a perk? It was a joke! Dinner was even worse! Nothing 5 star about dinner. There was coffee and water that you had to basically battle to even get any. Everything else you had to buy. The appetizer was a few cold French fries and a fried fritter of sorts. Which after standing in line behind the 200 other people, was cold too. Dinner was a basic salad no dressing, 3 types of Indian rice, and 2 spicy lentils dishes. No dessert or fruit ss promised in the listing. Literally nothing for our kids to eat. Add that to battling the hoard of hungry people to even get any of this food as there was no sort of order to this madness. So we are leaving with 2 hungry children. The shows were okay but no where near described. There's maybe 10 min of shows in total (belly dancer, spinning show and fire dancer). The rest of the time you just sit around hungry. Oh and no toilet paper at the facilities so that was fun. Going home was even more of a nightmare. You basically have to have a driver that will yell the loudest to get a car to go back to the parking lot. So we ended up waiting for 20 plus minutes just standing there with our kids while everyone else jumped the line in front of us. (no one here cares to let kids go first, even for food). If thats not enough to turn you away from this tour and this company keep reading! They tried to overcharge us when we went to pay and we had to correct him. But the cherry on top of it all was our driver decided he didn't want to take us to our hotel in barsha heights so sent us home with someone else in a totally different car. This car conveniently didn't have working seat belts. And we had CHILDREN with us! I asked Absolutely not okay and I highly advise anyone to avoid this company. But also this tour in general is a total cash grab. So we are leaving hungry and highly annoyed that we wasted all afternoon/evening on this. I've asked for a partial refund and got no response. So unfortunately the best I can say is spend your time elsewhere and avoid this company and this trip.

Avoid this tour like the plague - worst tour ever! - Worst experience ever!!!!!! Our driver was rude and virtually didn’t speak to us at all. Zero communication…….ripped off from the get go - charged 110 AED ($48 AUD) for 2 x small juice at quad stop. Hassled endlessly to buy headscarf’s and souvenirs! We had out 10 second camel ride and bullied into buying a photo. Then we reached the place for the BBQ dinner and show only to be told that the unlimited drinks would not start until 7.30pm (this was around 6.30pm).. mind you it was only 38 degrees in the desert. We were then seated outside (an air conditioned room was extra and not part of our package apparently). We sweltered for an hour. Hassled every 5 seconds to buy drinks, souvenirs, ice cream, juice etc. We were then told starters was ready, we all herded like elephants and lined up for our “appetiser” that was not edible (it was served out of a pot with their hands. Dinner time - pretty much the same thing - buffet style but food self-served with no idea what it was. The show was below average, visited the bathroom (no toilet paper of course) and we left early. Our driver didn’t bat an eyelid, didn’t speak for the entire hour back to the hotel nor asked if we enjoyed the evening! Avoid this tour like the plague.

Never again!!! - We paid AED 10 000 in advance for a private desert safari experience for 25 people to ensure that catering, a tour bus and seating was arranged in advance for a 5-star corporate event. We were dealing with Sait and the experience was less than desirable. He gave zero guidance and 2 days before the event, suggested that the best experience would have been to start at least 3hours than the original schedule in order to get the "full desert experience and sunset". It. was a corporate event, booked at least a month in advance (with colleagues coming from AUH, London and Germany). To make changes to the schedule 2 days before was near impossible! Long story short, our "5-star experience", AED 10k later, consisted of a pick up at the office squashed in 4 separate cars. Got to the desert just in time for a "buffet" dinner with very limited food options, which had been served to everyone in the camp and we got the remainder thereof. Absolutely nothing "private" or 5-star" about the entire experience. Just to get water was a mission. The list of items promised included welcome drinks, starter, mains, and sweets. Upon giving direct feedback, Sait said i should be "thankful" that we even made dinner! Highly disappointed!
