Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Upon arrival at the airport or your Nairobi hotel, a company representative will greet you. After a briefing, your driver guide will commence the safari, heading north to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located on the equator, west of Nanyuki, nestled between the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. You will arrive in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp or a similar venue. After lunch, enjoy some relaxation before departing for an evening game drive from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, returning to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Ol Pejeta to Lake Naivasha
Lake Naivasha - Following breakfast, embark on a journey towards Lake Naivasha. The name originates from the local Maasai term Nai’posha, meaning “rough water,” due to the sudden storms that can occur. En route, there will be a brief stop at Thomson’s Falls, a picturesque 74-meter waterfall on the Ewaso Ng’iro River, a few kilometers from Lake Ol Bolos sat. Upon arrival at your accommodation, check in, enjoy lunch, relax, and then set out for an afternoon exploration of this stunning freshwater lake on a boat safari. Witness hippos, impalas, and other herbivores as the sun sets over the African horizon, concluding your afternoon adventure.
Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve - After an early breakfast, travel southwest from Naivasha into the Maasai plains, stopping at the Maasai town of Narok. Continue to the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. As one of Kenya’s most popular game reserves, the Mara boasts an extraordinary density of wildlife, including the Big Five and a variety of plains game. The Mara River traverses the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, sustaining both game reserves before flowing into Lake Victoria. The instinct-driven migration of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle from the Serengeti to the Maasai Mara is a safari highlight. These animals must evade predators along the way, adding to the spectacle. The afternoon game drive begins at 4:00 PM, returning to your accommodation as the sun sets, casting a beautiful silhouette against the dimming African sky.
Maasai Mara National Reserve Full Day
Masai Mara National Reserve - Spend the second day in the Mara exploring the vast grassland savannas. Choose from full-day, half-day, or morning and afternoon game drives, depending on wildlife sightings, migration patterns, and weather conditions.
Masai Mara to Nairobi
