Ol Pejeta Conservancy with Tony Cruz, a complete safari tour! - Tony Cruz is da man!! If your able to get a tour with him you will be set. Puntual, great driver, joyous individual, and by the way great musician and singer. I was surprised today because, we though we were just gonna get to see the chimps and the black rhino. But Tony went out of his way to show us the Big Safari 5 which was unbelievable. We even got to see hippos and the last two Northern White Rhinos from a distance. What an amazing day and tour guide, definitely recommended, you won’t be disappointed!

Good but too expensive - Excellent setting for wildlife aficionados. A cheetah was nearby with a kill, and we discovered a leopard and her youngster close outside the lodge. In addition to this, we also spotted numerous reticulated giraffe, grevy zebra, and elephants in the region. .

Wonderful - Amazing park but the road is uncomfortable, and also the van. I suggest to divide the transportation into two stages. The first with car and then the safari by jeep

Ol Pejeta an awesome day out. - John my driver and guide was superb in both roles. He was really knowledgeable and helpful and did everything you would wish for. Very considerate and a very safe driver, organised a wonderful lunch stop . Ol Pejeta is a fantastic place to visit and their rhino conservation project is awesome in the truest sense of the word. I would recommend the tour 100% The administration is another story communication after payment is non existent despite numerous requests on WhatsApp they simply do not respond. I am supposed to do another tour with them this morning but once again I have had to try to prise information about pick up time out of them. There are still issues with a change in park entry rules which have been communicated last minute which are difficult to negotiate. Once there is a problem radio silence !

Good but raised thought provoking questions. - Awesome conservancy center with many wildlife to see and good staff. I'm still thinking bout Baraka the white blind Rhino and the Chimp that folded it's hands like a human. I was however disturbed by the high cost of accessing the conservancy for citizens. For normal parks in Kenya we pay ksh.250 but we paid ksh.1400 per person and ksh.600 for our car. Quite high for a common citizen. I was equally concerned that the conservancy is allegedly owned by white settlers occupying over 90,000 acres of land and equally deals with with wheat farming and beef production. I wondered why such an investments is not in the hands of our government. I promised myself to look into the history of this conservancy. I wondered if there 99 year lease has elapsed. It's our wildlife, it's our land!
