Lights above & below. - Hector was the captain and Ryan was his co-Captain. We went on the tour that left at 5:30 in LaParguera. It was the tour where you could see the sunset and then visit the BioBay after. We went on the day before the moon was to turn its darkest. We were so fortunate in that it was a warm evening and there were no winds. The ride on the boat was not choppy at all. Hector and Ryan were both terrific in answering questions, seeking to elevate our comfort and share their love of Puerto Rico. It just so happened that on our boat, all of us were from the East Coast of the U.S.A.! When we finally arrived at the bio Bay, we were treated with an incredible experience. The skies were clear and we could see stars above and all the lights in the water below us. Can’t say enough about the tour and the captains we shared the time with!! Thank you!

Enchanting! - This was a really unique and special experience! The crew were really great and made sure everything was safe and enjoyable. Including the sunset at the sand bar on this tour is smart, and feels like an added bonus! The bio bay itself is really special to experience. Pictures and videos just can’t capture it well, you have to see it yourself. The luminescence is activated by motion, so you don’t see a blue glow across the whole bay or even around the boat. You can see it a little bit from the boat, but you only get the full effect if you get in the water! The coolest effect is when you lift your arms out of the water slowly, and it looks like sparks are rolling off your skin! Another bonus is that you can see the stars really well on a clear night like we had. If you live in a city and don’t see a sky full of stars all the time, this just adds to the enchanting experience!

A Great Experience - Good value! We enjoyed the boat ride and trip to the bay. We saw some glow for sure. Would recommend. Google coordinates are decent but really need to look across from restaurant to find meeting point.

Bio Tour - We had captain Ryan for the bio tour and loved it. We were a family of 5 (3 younger kids) and it was amazing. We were hesitant doing the 9pm bio tour but we are so glad we did it. It was simply amazing and I highly recommend doing it. Our kids jumped in the water and we're mesmerized by the "pixie dust". Memorable moment in our trip.

Amazing trip! - It was the absolute highlight of our trip! Captain Fiol and Ms Adrianna was so good. We had a lovely time chatting with Adrianna. She's so knowledgeable about the area having grown up there. She's a rescue diver and a swim instructor , therefore it felt safe for us to let the kids be in open water. They were a wonderful team! We got to go into open waters and see bioluminescent plankton. Since it was dark, we were also able to see 2 meteors. Overall one of the most remarkable experiences of our lives!

Bio Bay Visit Was Amazing - We drove across PR (2.5 hours each way) to take this Bio Bay visit. Driving the 5 hours was totally worth it - for the relatively short time in the swimming with the "critters (i.e. plankton)" in the Bio Bay that light up when you he trip out in the small boat was well done - and the team knew what where we were going and how to make the trip memorable.
On the downside, the entry to the boat and information on when to arrive and where to park was a bit scattered. And the parking area could be more clearly organized. We arrived at 5 PM for the 5:30 start and were told to come back at 5:30.
A couple of tips - for the best experience, bring a snorkel and mask to enable you to see your arms and legs trigger the plankton to light up. And don't forget a towel.
Thanks for the remarkable experience - something we won't forget.

Chested - This is not a two hour cruise. The boat left the dock at 9:20pm. Arrived at the bioluminescent bay at 9:40. We jumped in the water and we concluded at 10:15pm and returned to the dock at 10:35 pm. That is not a two hour cruise. We got cheated.
