Phenomenal experience - This was an awesome your with great guide! We brought our 15 month old daughter and although she didn't swim she had a great time riding in the boat and watching the fish and sunset! Husband and I took turns swimming in the bay and the bioluminescence was so much better than expected! It glittered all over you and burst into bright lights as you moved. This is the tour to book!

Once in a lifetime tour - My wife and I did the Puerto Rico’s bio luminescence / sunset tour by Mareato Charter at La Paguera, Lajas, Puerto Rico. Our tour guide Glenda and Captain Fiol are very friendly and great. We arrived at the meeting place after a short walk from Parguera Plaza Hotel. Glenda met us at the meeting place and gave us some info about the tour after filling up the waiver. By 6:15 pm we left the docking area and head to Cayo Caracoles, saw the sunset and for a swim with Tarpoons (warm sea water). Along the way, Captain Fiol and Glenda are explaining about the facts of the surrounding area with some histories. By 8pm we’re at the dark area for the bioluminescence Swim..Glenda explained the best way for the experience and took some photos and video while we’re at the water. Awesome once in a lifetime adventure and this company did a great job!

Forever Memory - Such a memorable experience, from the sand bar to the bay it was smooth sailing. Ryan our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, polite and made our group feel very safe. He truly went above and beyond.

A Core Memory Type of Experience - PLEASE DO THIS!! It was definitely the coolest thing we did during our Puerto Rico trip and even after driving two hours ourselves each way from where we were staying just for this, we loved it so much. Reading other reviews I knew this would be cool but it definitely still exceeded our expectations. Try going during a new moon!

Magical - Sunset at the cays, while treading the beach for 45 minutes. Then the biobay with hundreds (thousands) of stars and glowing water. The water is not just a little bit glowy - it’s noticeably fluorescent, feels like when you move in the water you have a superpower. The guide was friendly, outgoing and conversational when you talk to him, but respects the peace of the moment. The boat was in great shape.

Excellent Tour - We lucked out because we had Hector as our guide, and he was amazing! Spoke English and Spanish fluently and he was so easy to talk to. I would go on this tour 100 more times, it was that great. We did see the glow and the sparkles. Definitely worth the price, don't think about it, just book it.
