• Enotis - Olive Groves & Museum - Nestled in the heart of a Corfiot olive grove, we will meet the owners of a distinctive oil press who will gladly share insights about the specific characteristics of Corfiot olives and olive oil, as well as the unique olive variety cultivated on the island. They will reveal the well-guarded secrets of producing high-quality olive oil and discuss the socio-economic and historical significance of olives in Corfiot life. Additionally, they will highlight the healing properties of olive oil.

Our tour will take us back in time to when oil producers used large, animal-driven stone wheels to grind olives. We will also see old pressers, storage containers for olive oil, and a variety of original tools and vessels from that era.

Finally, we will have the opportunity to taste olives and olive oil, accompanied by local products, while learning to identify the unique features of Corfiot olive oil just like the locals do.

• Theotoky Estate - We will visit a charming winery surrounded by expansive Corfiot vineyards.

The welcoming owners will introduce us to the world of wine and grapes, explaining the importance of wine in the daily life of Corfiots, the grape varieties grown on the island, and the types of wines produced. We will tour the winery to see the entire process of turning grapes into wine, learn the secrets of good wine production, and visit the cellar where wine is stored in a dark, dry environment to protect it from light.

After this introduction, we will enjoy a wine tasting featuring various types of wine with different colors, tastes, and flavors. A light snack made from local organic products will accompany our tasting, giving us the energy to continue our immersive tour.

• Apomero - We have selected a charming traditional tavern in a small, picturesque village in Corfu for you. Here, you will savor traditional dishes from a wide-ranging menu. We will also sample famous local cold cuts like the Venetian numbulo - fiumicado.

Numbulo is one of the most delectable local dishes, serving as the perfect appetizer with a glass of wine or as a starter before the main course.

We will also try the spicy dish known as spetseriko, at its finest in the legendary pastitsada! The tavern uses local ingredients and pure virgin Corfiot olive oil, ensuring the taste and quality of the food and service. You can also enjoy local wines and handmade Corfiot beers, which pair perfectly with the meal and are complemented by authentic Corfiot desserts.

• Lazaris Distillery & Artisan Sweets - The “Golden Orange,” a unique fruit that grows exclusively on the island of Corfu, was introduced to the island from the Far East over a century ago. Its rich history dates back about 150 years to when an English nature enthusiast and nobleman named Charlie Merlin visited Corfu and inspired the locals to cultivate this Japanese fruit.

We plan to visit a kumquat processing workshop to learn about the history of kumquat, the best recipes, and the nutritional benefits of this fruit. Finally, we will taste the unique flavors of this magical fruit in various forms, such as liquor, marmalade, and more.
