10/10 Manaslu Circuit trek with Salman - We recently completed the Manaslu Circuit Trek organized by Himalaya Guide Nepal and our guide Salman, and had a fantastic time! Salman is a very experienced guide and was a pleasure to spend the trek with. Our entire time it felt like he organised for us to stay at the nicest tea houses, take us on additional, scenic paths and organized for a private jeep and minibus for our return. Have to say we always appreciated the surprise snacks and the card game he taught, Dumbal. Would highly recommend this tour group and our guide to anyone! We will be returning for another.

Manaslu circuit-Trek 2024 - I was in Nepal 8 years ago and hiked the Annapurna Circuit with porter and guide Bashu. This spring I was in Nepal for the second time with my daughter, to trek around Manaslu, and, of course, my biggest wish was to do this again with Bashu. Bashu referred us to his company and my daughter planned the details and our wishes with Chandra, head of the company. Bashu was already waiting for us at the airport and, after clarifying all the details in Kathmandu, the three of us set off the next day. Birsing, our porter got on the way. We spent 2 wonderful weeks between 700 and 5100 meters altitude with constantly changing and beautiful landscapes. Despite the cold in the higher altitudes, thanks to down jackets, sleeping bags, good accommodation and great food with fruits as dessert, served by Bashu and Birsing, enjoy our time in this unique landscape. Instead of Samagaun, where we wanted to take a second day's break, we stayed in Tiliiche for another day because it was too cold for us in Samagaun! We visited a monastery and a beautiful village there and the next day we drove with jeep to Besisahar with two other trekkers from the company. A barbecue with meat awaited us together before dinner and, as dessert, a cake for crossing the pass, thank you so much! After a few days alone via Bandipur and the Chitwan National Park, we were invited by Chandra to a farewell dinner in Kahtmandu. Since Bashu was already on his next trek, we were accompanied by his colleague. What a beautiful ending! I can only recommend the company, as well as the Manaslu trek, we felt so comfortable at all times and would be happy to come back at any time.

The best trekking I can even imagine - At the end of November my husband and I with our best guide Bashudev had a wonderful trekking around Annapurna circuit. We have decided to choose Himalaya Guide Nepal Pvt. Ltd. because of wonderful reviews and detailed answers and help from Chandra! He answered all our questions and told about our trip program. Basu as our guide always chose the cozy hotels with hot shower and beautiful views (where it was possible) and gave us a piece of advise what to choose for eating and where we can take safe water. We trust him in every question. He was leading us on difficult roads, he was tolerant waiting for us, when we needed some rest. Every evening we opened the map of our trek and discussed our plans to the next day. Basu knows English on the high level and can tell about religion, history and customs of Nepal. He became our friend during the trek and we are very happy that we had so nice time! Thank you for this journey of my life💛

My dream has come true! - My wife and I have long dreamed of trekking around Annapurna and we have been looking for a suitable agency for a long time. Manager Chandra selected the program by day, answered all questions about the trip, and helped decide on equipment. Basudev is the best guide! He always chose the best accommodation with a hot shower and comfortable conditions, and talked about the history and customs of Nepal. In addition to the usual trekking, Basu went with us to hot springs, temples and monasteries. I recommend choosing this company! Thank you for my best vacation!!!

Annapurna Circuit Solo trek - I cant recommend this trek enough. There are just too many highlights to pick few. First of all, I am very grateful to Himalaya Guide Nepal tour group for making this trip happen. They have been very helpful since the beginning of planning to execution of the trip. For someone like me who is travelling solo and was planning to do this trek just by myself with a guide, they were very helpful in answering any questions I had, budgeting the trip and helping with anything I need during the trip. They took care of food, accommodation, trekking gear and anything I needed during the trip. Its very affordable and worth it. I had a very good guide who took care of everything. I had a fantastic experience and looking forward to do more treks in the coming years.

Manaslu/Annapurna Two Pass Trek - In October 2022 we did the Manaslu/Annapurna Two Pass Trek with Himalaya Guide Nepal. Everything about this trip exceeded our expectations. Chandra and everyone at Himalaya Guide Nepal were very easy to work with. The trek itself was 21 days and we stayed in Nepal for another week afterwards. HGN supported us and helped us make travel arrangements for that part of the trip as well. The weather started out a bit rainy at the beginning of our trip but turned in to beautiful sunny days by day 2 or 3 of our trek. Everyone - from Chandra, our guides and our porters went out of their way to make sure we were as safe and comfortable as possible. The food was great, every day! The scenery was spectacular and everyone we met along the way was welcoming. Chandra and his staff took care of everything we needed from the minute we arrived in Kathmandu until we departed 34 days later. This was truly a "trip of a lifetime"! If you are looking for an experienced, reliable, friendly and highly reputable guiding company - this is it. You will not be disappointed.

Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek 2022 - Fantastic experience! In August, 2022 friends invited me to participate in the trip they had arranged early in 2022. They had been to Nepal in 2018 and had used Himalaya Guide Nepal for that trek as well. The guide service was very accommodating and allowed me to join the trek even at such a late date. Our Trip Organizer, Chandra did an excellent job of putting together a well thought out itinerary. At my friends' request, Chandra incorporated 2 days of guided site seeing in Kathmandu before starting the trek. Our guide for these 2 days, Manraj, was very knowledgeable of the history of Nepal and provided lots of information about the Nepali culture and sites we visited in Kathmandu. Our 19 day trek of the Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley was guided by Bashudev. Bashu did an excellent job of keeping us safe, arranging for local accommodations and communicating with everyone along the way. I can't say enough good things about Bashu. I strongly recommend Himalaya Guide Nepal if you are considering a trek in Nepal.

Trip of a lifetime - I had always dreamt about going to Nepal. When my father in-law invited me to join him on a trip there I jumped on the opportunity. He had been to Nepal once before and used Himalaya Guide to do the Annapurna trek. He decided to use them again for our trip on the Manaslu trek and I’m glad he did. From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu until the day we left we never had to worry about rides, hotels, food, guides, …. anything. The only thing we had to worry about was enjoying our trip and taking in all the beauty that is Nepal. I’m truly grateful for our guide Bashu who kept us safe and took care of us for 19 days. I had an amazing experience and highly recommend this company for anyone looking to explore Nepal. I’m definitely going to use them if/when I ever return to Nepal. Thank you Chandra and Bashu.

Nar Phu and Annapurna circuit in April 2023 - Recently completed Nar-Phu, Tilicho Lake and Annapurna circuit trek with Himalaya Guide Nepal. We went as private group and overall got very good experience. We started from Kathmandu on 13th April to Besisahar, crossed Kang-la on 20th, crossed Thorong-la on 28th and finally ended in Pokhara on 30th April. I appreciate our guide Gurung Bashudev. He is knowledgeable, friendly, having patience and very encouraging. I sincerely thank Birsing Gurung for carrying my luggage without whose support I couldn't have completed this trek. Birsing is not only strong but also very nice to travel with. Last but not the least I thank Chandra Gurung for organising everything.
