We are excited to guide you on a tour of the ancient temples in Lampang. For history buffs and ancient culture enthusiasts, this is a tour not to be missed. We start our day with a pick up from your hotel at 8.00 am and then travel towards Lampang. Along the way, we stop at the White Bridge in Lamphun province which was constructed during the Second World War. After this, we continue for about an hour to Lampang via a scenic local route. Upon reaching Lampang, our first stop is the Wat Pong Yang Krok Temple, a 200-year old piece of Lanna architecture. Our next stop, following a 20-minute drive, is the famous Wat Prathat Lampang Laung Temple, a symbol of Lampang known for its inverted pagoda shadow. We then procede to Wat Lai Hin, adorned with stunning stucco work and relatively less crowded. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. The final stop is the Wat Srirongmaung Temple that showcases Burmese architectural styles and offers a different perspective on Buddhism. After a day filled with history and culture, we will drive you back to your hotel.
