A tour you will want to repeat whenever you come back - This tour was truly exceptional.....Our guide and driver Dale was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Sarah, our hostess, was not only a great cook but musically talented as well. This was our second time doing this activity and we are ready to book for next year.

Meal at an Amish farm - We enjoyed the ride out to the Amish farm and all the information our guide shared with us. Sarah served us a scrumptious meal. She and her daughter were very friendly and we enjoyed the experience. Thank you Dale for being a wonderful tour guide.

Wonderful experience, wonderful food - This was an excellent tour and a wonderful experience. Our driver/guide was extremely knowledgable and, also, very respectful about the Amish and their beliefs and customs. The food was delicious and plentiful (pro tip: don't eat a late breakfast beforehand!!). We enjoyed seeing the countryside and several landmarks along the way. Best of all, we enjoyed meeting the family: a young couple with several children. The day we went was actually the first day that they were "hosting" a lunch. They were lovely and patient about answering our questions (and even shared a recipe for bread...and pie:). The experience helped us check a lot of assumptions we had about the Amish and we walked out of it with a greater understanding for a way of life that, while different from ours, is worthy of respect and admiration.

The highlight of our vacation!! - Our tour guide Dale was extremely knowledgeable about the Amish culture as well as Lancaster local history. Sarah was an extremely gracious host! Her kindness and warm heart made us feel very welcome in her home! The meal she prepared was absolutely delicious! Her children were an absolute joy to speak with ! We enjoyed Sarah playing the harmonica!! Lastly, This experience was the highlight of our vacation!! We are planning to come back very soon and hopefully we’ll get to have lunch with Sarah and her family again!!

Must do when visiting Lancaster - What a wonderful way to see and understand the Amish. Sandy was a terrific tour guide and explained a lot about Amish culture. Our host family was lovely and the food was outstanding. The kids were so sweet and excited to show us the buggy and animals! Fantastic experience!

Amish tour and meal - We took a drive down Lincoln Highway through Strasburg to the Fisher farm and learned about the Amish movement as well as had a scrumptious and enjoyable lunch with Sarah. As an added bonus she played her harmonica for us. Afterwards we explored the barn and got some history. Dale was our tour guide and provided s plethora of information.

A GREAT DAY WITH OUR AMISH FRIENDS - Our guide was very knowledgeable in the Amish culture. Explained in great detail the history and their lifestyle. The meal with our Amish host was delicious and great thought went behind what to prepare for us. She was also a delight to speak with.
