Great tour of a very interesting town - This was a great walking tour of downtown Lancaster with an added bonus of a couple of beers towards the end. Our guide was interesting and knowledgeable about the history of downtown Lancaster. The tour was easy to hear due to an earpiece provided and the level of walking was modest so manageable even on a very hot day. Definitely recommend!

Outstanding adventure! - Mike shared his wealth of knowledge and life experiences in a relaxed manner. He was extremely flexible to the needs of our group. He patiently waited for us in the rain as we were late arriving from the food tour with Kendra. He accommodated us, kept us comfortable, dry and warm on an extremely stormy day! Can’t wait to plan another road trip to Lancaster to see, learn and enjoy all Lancaster has to offer, Thanks Mike, for a great afternoon!

Historical walking tour for all adults, superb knowledge of Lancaster’s rich history and citizens. Make time. - Our guide was so knowledgeable about Lancaster, it’s rich history related to the founding of our nation and promotion/preservation of our basic freedoms. We were educated on Lancaster and its role during the early days of our nation, educated us on Ben Franklin and his business and political activities in Lancaster in support of the birth of democracy, as well as other notable citizens. The discussion of Lancaster as a major destiny due to its prominence in support of The Underground Railroad and Thaddeus Stevens and other prominent citizens during this crucial time in our history, all very enlightening. He discussed the successes and complex shortcomings of one of its most notable citizens, President Buchanan. We learned of ingenuity in commerce with its unique method of skirting the law during Prohibition. This is not an Amish tour but rather a light and easy walking tour where our knowledge and appreciation of Lancaster and its important role on American history was expanded. The craft beer tour part provided a lesson on American ingenuity and two stops for a casual beverage sampling.

Lots of history - Mike was extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting history information with us. We were a little disappointed because we only had 2 beer stops at the end of the tour. Our past experience with beer tours have included multiple stops throughout the tour. Overall we did enjoy the tour.
